I like my mumba blade case for the clear back since I use decals but, the dock fit is tight so I usually refrain from using it like that since I have scratched my screen protectors trying to find the correct position. The most important thing for me was though was the case feeling like one unit that incorporates the joy cons so that little bit of a wobble from the joy cons attached to the unit goes away. For that purpose this was amazing, it feels high quality and just sleek, and is just right for anyone who predominantly plays handheld style. The angles on the bottom of the grips looked like weird positioning , but playing laying back on a couch with my switch propped up in my palms actually fit the angle perfectly, so they did something very smart and subtle.
So I must say that I’m actually new to this channel and at first I watched you latest couple of videos and actually enjoyed them so much that I decided to start from your first switch videos you have on here and I absolutely love your videos... they’re just so well made from the recording style to the transitions and the narration..you speak very clearly which I appreciate .. and I think you do an excellent job on the product reviews.. with that being said you absolutely deserve all the subscribers you have and the many more that are sure to come. #ROADTO100K
I'm perfectly happy with my nyko thin case because it provides a protective layer without affecting the ability to Dock and remove the controllers. I don't see any point to the switch if you don't retain those abilities. The only thing that you didn't mention is those gel covers for the joycons prevent it from being used with a joy con grip.
I just got my Mumba and its amazing. I love it and it makes my switch so much sturdier. The one downsize is that afterwards, my right joycon no longer slides in and off as easily. It may or may not be a coincidence. Hopefully I didn't break anything 😅 but really, I do love it.
I have tried all 4, the ugreen was the best in terms of light weight, no fuss ergonomics, fitment but i left it in the dock overnight and the side rubber part just unglued itself from the hard plastic part (its easy to glue it back but i couldn't be bothered). Now the Skull & Co is my main grip as it has the swappable bump but the L R takes a bit getting used to.
Just a thing I wanna mention, (cuz I love it!) the skull & co. Case is technically desktop mode compatible, as it can free stand with a certain grip and the with the case bundle, there’s an adjustable kickstand fold out. Anyway luv ur channel, keep up the great work! 👌
The Mumba is very good, the grips are very steady if you Joy-cons are quite old will help you get rid of that annoying Joy-con wiggle thing. However it has a negative side, do NOT by the green one you would rather buy the black one, because it gets extremely ugly and disgusting after like 4-5 months if you use the console mainly on Handheld mode.

Since that’s the 1 year anniversary of the switch’s online service, when most people will get their subscriptions renewed. Also, be sure to get a switch in the red box. That switch has a longer battery life than the original.
I wish skull & co made that same case for the Oled I don’t like the neogrip that much at all or the gripcase . But I love my gray mumba case it’s so comfortable and it matches my custom gameboy joycons
I have the UGREEN Protective and the Mumba Blade Cases and I I like both. I wish the mumba have the cutout for kickstand but not :-(. Overall, the Ugreen is winner and it also fint nice in the hand either I sit or laying on bed. :)
Yes the Mumba case is dockable - given then you muscle it in (risking scratching your screen or chipping/removing your protector) and even then it wont fully connect to your monitor/screen but it will charge.
It Came From A Box Maybe all Mumba cases vary. The Skullnco fitted fine in the dock with no issues and had larger grips that were so satisfying to hold.

Fantastic question. I have the butterFox joycon grips and the biggest frustration for me was the realization that the Hori d-pad unit won’t fit in it because of that little bump on the back. I may return the hori unit and just do a shell replacement for a joycon and add a dpad

I got my Mumba case today and it's NOT dock compatible if you already have a tempered glass screen protector. I have to push really hard and it still seems to "pop out" from the connector on it's own after several moments (charging stops and dock light is blinking fast).
I kind of want a mumba but I also kind of want to get the oled edition dock for it’s built in Ethernet port, but of the fit is that tight on a original dock I think it won’t fit on the oled dock? I think oled dock is a bit bigger

I have the nyko and mumba. Both doesn't work with dock. Yes it slip into the dock but it doesn't connect or charge. I've try 2 different dock. It is the same. Any suggestions?

Cannot wait to see your review of the Mumba grip since at this point I have 3 types for my Switch and each time feel like its not quite the right thing especially since sometimes I want a big grip like the Satisfye grip and sometimes just want something smaller and sleek which I am still trying to find so I can just stick it in my back pocket but still protect the Switch. Personally I dont like cases. I just use a Satisfye grip when in handheld and simply remove it in 2 seconds when I want to dock.
You could also get the compact shell for the dock where you just transplant your original dock to the new portable shell.

To answer my own question. Yes the Mumba Blade Case will fit in a Waterfield Pouch.
I bought the Nyko Dockable Case and the new Wolfe thin and tough case for the Nintendo Switch.
Yes the Mumba case is dockable - given then you muscle it in (risking scratching your screen or chipping/removing your protector) and even then it wont fully connect to your monitor/screen but it will charge.
The thing is, we haven't had any issues with damage and ours docks on all 3 of our official docks :/

Jumpgate is the answer to any case! Plus the footprint is much smaller than Nintendos dock and way easier to take with you anywhere!
