Even if the number of cheaters doesn't increase, it feels like it does because less and less regular players bother with trials either because its a bad return on their time invested when considering their skill in PvP or becasue the match against cheaters and get put off. Congrats to the suits for firing the player security team that dealt with the anticheat in this game.
as a mediocre player (im a .5-1.2, depending on the weekend) I get so many annoying toxic callouts, that demovitate me from playing further. Trials community is not welcoming to regular/newer players. But then they complain no one else plays trials no more. Not trying to call you out. Im just getting annoyed at the same people being toxic to everyone thats not a 2.0 and then also complain no one plays
I just don't find trials fun anymore

I had a guy flying around with some sort of full auto rocket sniper doing the linear fusion sound. It was like the unholy child of ten weapons but i guess thats totally normal and undetectable

It's weird I've never run into absolute blatant cheaters before but joined a match yesterday where some guy was flying around at Mach 5 with instakill rapid fire sidearms... In normal 6's
Same, I ran into my first cheater in an Iron Banner match. At first I was just like "this guy's aim is cracked with a side arm" then saw the kill feed was nothing but head shots with a side arm. Looked him up on Steam and saw a previous vac ban on their account

I struggled to go solo flawless cos it was either ultra laggy or cheating players. and matches where I had neg stat team mates and three 2+ kd players on op team.
I had the opposite happen lol ran 1 card got it done, got my God roll and the old shader
It’s okay I farmed like 200 adept messengers and didn’t get the roll I wanted
So don’t think you’re missing out vs people who go flawless, getting something good is still totally rng

Every time I enter trials it’s always cheaters and I just keep reporting. For about a week now I’ve bee. Getting the “thank you we banned somebody” message from bungie every time I log in. It’s quite sad and I wish it wasn’t like this

I miss the days of D1 trials so bad. It had it's sweaty moments, but nowadays people play like they're in the final round of a million dollar tourny. Hell they even do that in quickplay. It's nearly impossible to play "off meta" meme stuff without wanting to delete the game lol.

Yeah I lost on a 5 win and then on a 6 win and finally got it on like my 9th card. Was a pretty miserable weekend ngl. Flawless didn’t even feel that good after all of that lol
This first week of the season the crucible was horrendous. Obscene trial map, all playlists with skill matchmaking except rift (worst mode in the game) and relic which is too much of a spam...
Constantly switching your weapons is the most annoying shit
I think my brother matched an aimbotter earlier or possibly lag switcher, shot through the balls on the left side of map and prefired each angle perfectly at head height each time, not one missed headshot fired at all. All perfectly at it

I actually played howl this weekend and at the time I thought he was a guy who was feeling it with the aim and lacking some game sense and maybe on some ketamine or smth but looking at it now it’s pretty clear there was some shenanigans going on
The whole PVP game is like this at the moment. 6s is full of them and I spend as much time reporting them as I do playing. Bungie don't give a fuck anymore... And for every cheat you report, report their clan too.
That bot isnt just spinning and losing he is also in a fake arcweb alongside a 1.2 ximmer playing 1.5
They just did a lay off this was probably the weekend they just laid off their guys that monitor suspicious behavior. Lol

I’m so glad I stopped playing trials. One by one everyone I played trials with quit because of cheaters. It’s embarrassing how many people openly cheat and nothing happens. And even worse people defend them “they are just really good.”
Why Bungie, the game company that just loves numbers and stats can't do a simple system to just pull data from trials report and identify blatant cheaters by their headshot ratios that are not only humanly impossible, but statistically impossible too. Juust ban them for life, ban their hardware so they can't play, or put them into a cheaters only pool, where they will never escape, and to add insult to injury, lock them out of raids, dungeons, seasonal activities, nightfalla/grandmasters and campaing missions, they con only play core activities matched up with cheaters.
What’s also sad is Bungie isn’t going to do anything about it the hackers.
I dont think i encountered any chesters but it was a tough weekend. I never went on any win streaks like i usually do. It kept being 1 win, 1 loss, vice versa. Rng with teamates in solo que was a crap shoot
No matter how bad trials gets, nothing beats getting that win against cheaters, or that godroll adept that you have been chasing, or god forbid a sparrow 😂

Maybe no one should play trials on one weekend except the cheaters then bungie could see in black and white just how many people cheat. It’s nuts, I’ve played this game as much as any streamer and am very disappointed in how the best relatability option is also the worst for my time. Great video as always
This is just a theory, but Bungie is suing every cheat manufacturer for millions. I think they're happy about the free money and will do shit to prevent it.

At this point theres almost no reason to touch trials since the population is so low your chances of matching cheaters just goes up the more cheaters play since they make legit people stop playing, and the cycle continues. The weekend before this one when it was jav 4 i played arcweb 3 times, 1 as a duo and 2 as a trio
Game has been abandoned man, even Bungie admitted they pulled resources from anti-cheat during layoffs. I give the game another year or two =(. Reminds me of the end times of metal gear online 2.

ive played with these 2 guys before. thought they were cheating but after i talked to him he said he uses a XIM which gives him aim assist on a mouse and keyboard.

Terror plays like that too. For players with a good enough flick they can keep their reticle down to see better then bring it up to fight (I think).
Some ppl just have that muscle memory. Like you know where your reticle needs to go right away. Im kind of the same way.
