ในตอนเช้าที่พระตามวัดต่างๆทั่วประเทศ ออกบิณฑบาต มักจะได้อาหารเต็มบาตร บางองค์บวชมานานก็จะได้อาหารใส่บาตร บางองค์ได้อาหารเป็นเข่งใหญ๋ ๆ ขนไม่หมด ต้องจ้างรถตุ๊กตุ๊กมาส่งที่วัด บางองค์มีลูกศิษย์ขี่มอเตอร์ไซด์ ไปส่งที่วัด เพราะได้อาหารถุงใหญ่ ๆ หลายถุงหิ้วไม่ไหว และก็มีใส่เงินเป็นปัจจัยให้พระด้วย พอสายหน่อย พระท่านนับเงินบางวันได้เป็นพัน ๆ บาทเลยที่เดียว ขึ้นอยู่กับบวชนานมากพรรษา หรือน้อยพรรษา ถ้าเป็นพระหนุ่มจะได้อาหารและเงินน้อย ขึ้นอยู่กับบารมีทีปฏิบัติด้วยหรือเปล่าไม่ทราบ
ปกติพระฉันท์อาหารวันละ 2 มื้อเท่านั้น ก่อนเที่ยง ดังนั้นอาหารที่ได้มาเหลือมากมาย
