Awesome job Pavel! You always have it all figured out and explain everything the way it makes sense! Thanks for another great video, cheers Pavel!
Robert,
Thank you for watching and for a nice comment. Appreciate it.
Totally looking forward to seeing your vesc setup video coming up!
Cheers mate. Very soon.
Hey! do you know how tall that ESC is exactly? I've seen values everywhere between 25mm and 30mm
It's 24.8 mm mate.
Just had my focbox die :( so looking for new esc , very good video cant wait for part 2 & 3 :)
This esc is quite good and can take high voltage plus the remote is quite cheap and you can control all the accessories.
Question - is this a clone of the flipsky FT85BD , has exact same light kit and horn?
Or did flipsky clone Spintend?
Very, very similar hey.
Does the esc have auto shut off feature to not kill my battery, if i accidentally leave it on?
Yes it does mate.
I would like to attach it to ZERO10X with safety parts. Could you tell me how to wire by color and location?
Hi mate, I am not sure what ZERO10X is ... wiring diagram is on the link below just in case - drive.google.com/file/d/1hemo9p_9VyctvTTJIlXuWjQxemOfXeP7/view
Is it possible to connect an odometer display to these types of controllers?
Yes you can do that via UART. Davega for instance can display a lot of esc data on the screen.
I want to add this controller to my scooter.
Is it possible to connect the alarm to (like immobilizer)?
Nice presentation.
Not sure about the alarm mate but you can add an ignition key so you can actually lock it.
@@PavelGarmas It locks like immobilizer
Hey Pavel, Decided to go ahead with the purchase after watching your video. Unfortunately, the discount code doesn't work for a Ubox V2 75V J. It should be able to handle a 12S.
Wanted to know if its possible to hook up Davega X with a Ubox? Hope you have something on in your next video.
Keep up the good work. Cheers!!!
Hi mate, discount is for the 100V unit only unfortunately. Yes, it will work with Davega .. it is VESC based unit so all good.
I bought the same controller in this video and it says it’s safe for 22S LiIon. Do you know a good 22S BMS with a 200A discharge rate?
I do not use bms on discharge mate...charge only. I do show how to bypass the bms in my battery building tutorials.
Hello pavel do you have to have Sensoren motors for the traction control to be useable or can you use it in sensor less FOC? Also can you run a fan off the horn plug instead of the fan as my fan port is being used for the adc adapter
Hi mate. I believe that you would need censored motors to run the traction control but i could be wrong. Are you on my Facebook group ESK8Freedom? Might be worth asking on there.
You can potentially run the fan from the horn connection however it does only activate when you press the button on the remote. Why not to splice into the fan power point and run both? The limit for ALL accessories is 3 Amp across all power outputs though.
@@PavelGarmas no I’m not apart of that FB group but I’ll join it now amd ask there
@@jamesthornton642 sorry mate i didn't realise it was you and did decline..could you re-join and agree to the rules please.
@@PavelGarmas I sent another request
@@jamesthornton642 you are in.
Hey Pavel. New to the channel here. Enjoyed the video. I do have a question: You said we could use any brake lights and headlights. I’m currently running Shredlights SL1000 as the headlight and SL200 as the rear lights. How would I go about wiring these up for smart break lights?
For starters, all lights need to be no more than 3 amp in total. You would need to use Spintend remote to control the lights or you can follow a few of my tutorials. I do have one on how to wire the rear brake light via ppm and also on a diy led module. Have a look.
Are you able to utilise single drive and dual drive for scooters?
Yes you can mate.
Very nice looking vesc. How well do you think it could handle a 24S battery pack? I'd love to try sticking it in a 100v electric unicycle!
Hi mate,
Company are quite confident that 100V will be reliable as the amperage will be lower. I do not know anyone who done it though. Perhaps you can be the pioneer ?
@@PavelGarmas Nice nice, I was thinking the same thing. I'll give it a go when I got the money.
@@KennyCutout don't forget to use the discount code 😉
Defiantly want one
Go for it...it is a decent unit. And you do get a discount with my code.
@@PavelGarmas do you have a link with your code?
@@Fynn-Victus no link mate, just use the codes from the video at the checkout 👍
@@PavelGarmas gotcha pav20
Hi! Great video. Unfortunately the discount code isn't valid anymore . 😕
Hi mate,
It should be working... i will contact Spintend now.
What code did you try using? It is for the 100V unit only...
@@PavelGarmas pav20 and yes for the 100v.can send you a screenshot
@@OdoPen give Spintend time to reply. I did contact them but there is time difference... i will let you know mate.
@@OdoPen code is back on mate 😀
Very Nice video as usual 😉👍
Thank you! Cheers!
цена какая? почему не указываешь
You mention a discount code, but no mention of cost or where to buy.
Apologies mate. Discount code gives 20 dollars off the order. Link to buy the unit is in the description and right here for convenience.

@@PavelGarmas Thanks Pavel. Your video reviews are always well done and comments always so much appreciated.
@@torresdelpaine8888 Thank you.
Is the code still valid?
Yes it is mate 👍
What do you think of this controller compared to flipsky?
@@Electric_heaven_dp i think it is a better unit and has more options in regards to lights, horn and other options.
Smart reverse from a uni remote! What is this sorcery!?!? Seriously, I thought I read on the forums that I'd need to plug in a receiver into ppm to get the use of smart reverse. I hope you have a better solution, but even if you don't, hopefully you cover that in the next video.
Smart reverse works fine with any remote used on Unibox. Just need to activate the it in vesc tool. I will cover it in next video in more detail however i do show how to in this one already...have a look.ua-cam.com/video/xLnKS5m0A7s/v-deo.html
@@PavelGarmas I'm running the same vesc and same 5.3 fw installed using 3.01.. Follow the same instrux you show and nothing happens when if I hold the brake down. I have one of the very first 100v v2 ESC, but I don't think they've had more than one version since it was released, unlike the 75v v2. Maybe my remote is the problem because I don't get reverse on my 75v v2, but every other function works perfectly.
@@PavelGarmas using the uni 1 remote
@@Ben_jamin50 then it does work 100%. I am editing vesc tool tutorial now so wait for it.
@@Ben_jamin50 i know what the issue could be...smart reverse is not activated. My tutorial will cover it.
