Just in case yall don’t see it, the venomous armguard is not a stand alone piece. It’s an alternative to the arm piece for the centipede. It’s actually better than the regular piece as it applies poison pretty consistently if you have good crit
It does still give its unique effect even without the rest of the centipede set tho, for sure. You still deal poison if you crit and aren’t fully on the centipede set, and it still slaps 😮💨
@@JRPGSamurai Gale Guard looks great fully upgraded and its my fav. I'm actually enjoying myself learning all the bosses attacks and dodging them in this game. I couldn't dodge or parry sh*t in Elden Ring. lol
@@JRPGSamurai Totally agree with you Pilgrim was the first one I maxed, It's very unique looking. Both Original Wukong versions are definitely the most Beautiful, and feel most Accurately Chinese. But I still have difficulty picking a favourite! haha
I guess it is between Pilgrim, Gale, Yaksha, Iron and Loongscale for me. They all look quite badass. Pity you can't upgrade the starting armor for some crazy personal Destined One armor. The one with tiger fur on it
The personal destined one armor is the prolonged armor, wukongs set. Trying to avoid spoilers, but getting it is super cool. It's held by four bosses, plus the staff
Yes indeed we are aware however, its such a niche use still imo. Even though its the final boss fight and advanced will disregard this set. I am hoping the DLC will cover a lot of water levels XD
Can you do a blog or a video to explain the materials to upgrade to mythical level? I can’t seem to find it anywhere. I need to know if my materials are sufficient before I start upgrading. I’m going to upgrade the serpent scale set.
I’m going for the pilgrim set as well. Got 2 to mythical after watching this video. I’ve been using it for that strong initial hit that can halve a normal enemy’s health at the start of a fight.
The serpent chest piece has saved me so many times if you suck like me. I save gourds because of the free heals. And the last battle happens to be in water so of course i wore it.
The pilgrim set is literally the best the only one that is slightly/comparable to it is the wukong armor id recommend upgrading the pilgrim set to the max instead of wasting the materials in other armors
Do I need to upgrade all set parts to mythical to recive the effect or is it enough upgrading one? I want to know if i can mix mythical effects from different armors
Hello Cocker, you need to wear them, upgrading is more of increasing defense. You just need to wear the required amount of pieces for a set effects to kick in.
@@JRPGSamurai yea but when you upgrade a piece to mythical it says you gain a new bonus My question is if i can mix different mythical pieces to get each piece mythical bonus
@@Cocker_Spaniel Hmm no you can't since most of the set still requires 3 or 4 set pieces. The only thing that you can do is have 1 mythic set effect with set pieces of 3 then wear another piece with a unique effect. Like for for example, Serpentscale plus the see no evil head piece.
I wish i had seen this video before, i think i wasted to many materials on my first run through i upgraded the pilgrim set to mythical and even though its good i wish i had gone another route I'm now on NG+ so going to pick carefully this time
Hello Matty, Its ok, I think making mistakes is somehow part of the fun. Pilgrim rocks though. And eventually, you will have all the materials to upgrade all armors.
I haven't upgraded any yet so I could have the mats for new ones if necessary. But I think maxing the gale-guard is worth it. Also, is the mythic version a max upgraded one or a newly crafted one?
Hello qpm and no, you need to fulfill the requirements for a certain effect to be active like, for example if an effect have the number "4" sign on it, it means you need to wear 4 pieces of that armor.
@@KRR89 For the additional effect, you just need to equip that specific piece like for example if the unique effect was noted on the arm piece, equipping it alone will provide the effect. For one to be not confused, treat the unique effect separate from set effects.
Thanks for the tip and I will also make my own list. These are pretty accurate. Although I would think about the top 2. But no doubt about Golden and Pilgrim.
@@JRPGSamurai yeah tier list near the top they are all super strong, the only thing left is depends on personal preference. So don't need to compare once you are at such high ranking lol
