I’m sorry, I know people are just in shock initially, but it is so irritating when they assume the parents are lying. If I heard “you’re lying, these are fake pictures, you’re joking” I’d literally cry

I cannot believe the horrible reactions. Those people are unreal with the curses. The immediate response should have been joy, love, gratitude, and congratulations to the mom carrying the babies.
Honestly? I get it. 3 babies at once is not only more dangerous for both the mother and the babies themselves, but also increases your future expenses considerably. It could involve moving, it could mean exorbitant childcare expenses which you may not be able to afford. Plus the fact that one newborn is more than overwhelming for some people, three at once might affect parents’ mental health, their sleep, their entire wellbeing for the worse. If they don’t have close family or friends nearby, that’s also scary and overwhelming because then they have to do everything on their own, or hire help, which again….expensive. There’s a lot to consider. You can be happy but terrified too and that’s ok. It’s healthy to be realistic.

Tuve la bendición de traer trillizos al mundo, después de dos nenas, al enterarme entre en shock, ya que vivía en otro país muy lejos de mi querida familia, y no tenia la remota idea de como los iba a criar, ni de fuerzas, ni conocimiento, ni ayuda familiar , ni económica, pero al nacer sentí que fue una regalo del cielo, me sentí una privilegiada de D-os, y poco a poco todo se fue acomodando. Fue lo mas hermoso que recibí en mi vida, mis tres varones que hoy ya son hombrecitos , gracias a D-os por confiar en mi 💙💙💙, mi querida mama se fue de este mundo 9 meses después, sin conocerlos, tan solo por videos, y ellos fueron mi fuerzas para seguir adelante.

If you can muster the financial support for triplets I think it is the best scenario. 3 kids at once, the early years could be a disaster but then you never had to do it again.

I recommend moving to Europe with the first flight available. Parental leave, child support, free healthcare, etc., etc. You’ll find a job here no problem. Good education, childcare in consultation agency, etc. Be healthy you all.

I think the negative reactions are mostly from Americans who realise just how crazy expensive the entire pregnancy and birth will be for these couples. I countries with socialised healthcare, it costs very little, if anything.

I once worked with a woman years ago that was pregnant with twins, and then she announced that she was going to selectively get rid of one and she did… I could not believe it. I still really can’t believe it. She went through with it but she did I’ve often wondered if the other surviving twin found out how he would feel about it or she would feel about it…..think it was a boy, there was nothing wrong with the pregnancy. She just didn’t wanna be bothered with two babies.
That is such a sad story. I don't know how she could possibly done that

Sometimes, after IVF for instance, it is recommended to do this. Twin pregnancies are riskier for the babies.

When I told my hus we were expecting, he said, You r lying. Let’s say it hurt. He was ok with trying. Three months of trying, I was expecting. He went directly to shop for fruit. My dau is getting married. Three kids come with that. A dau 13 and twin 9 yr old boys. Fun!

These people had reaction when I told family and friends I was having twins
My wife and I were always concerned we might have identical twins as it ran in her family for 3 generations. That's why we didn't try for a third baby. We had 2 boys and I wanted to try for a girl, but my wife asked me if I was prepared for twins. I said no not really, she said me either! So that was that and I never got the daughter I wanted.

Ha Ha, the grandfather that said he's moving to Arizona is the most sane one in this whole video. He knows grandpa and grandma will be changing a $hit load of diaper's if they live anywhere near their daughter! LOL Best thing to do if your son or daughter says they are having triplets is move far away and move back when the kids are 3. The best time of my life was when my 2 boys were age 3 to age 12. Once the teen years kicked in things went a bit south as they pushed for independence. Once they passed the turbulent teen years it's been all gravy as they are wonderful successful adults.
Lol. I was thinking he said that cause his kids live there and might need the grandparents closer, so he said that to say You need help. I'm moving closer to be able to help.

It's not an accusation like you might be thinking. It's more of "Wow! This is unbelievably rare! I can't believe we're experiencing this!" Kind of thing. More of a surprise. Some people say "Really?!" Or "Are you kidding me?" It's all the same.

The grandpa that said he was moving to Arizona had the right idea. Because he knew how much work would be involved in helping take care of 3 babies. It's a sobering reality! I can't even imagine what it would be like! My wife and I had one at a time and that was enough work for us. LOL
