My aunt was neighbors with Andrew for a bit when they were filming season 5 in Georgia. Apparently she invited him over for thanksgiving because he had no one to celebrate with. He was apparently very nice and grateful and did actually celebrate with them. He gave my cousin some of his kids hand me downs and gave my aunt the dvds of the first 3 seasons and signed them! She lives In Atlanta and actually meets many famous people but she told me that Andrew was probably the nicest one she met. I am still to this day jealous that she got to have dinner with Rick Grimes

Andrew’s southern accent in The walking Dead is phenomenal. As a Brit who has visited the American South several times and heard the accents, Andrew’s one totally hits the spot.

Damn. You'd think it'd be a bit of a risk having them do that scene on the first day of shooting. I say this because in that scene they *really* convey that best friend/brother relationship that Rick and Shane had. That scene was to give us backstory on how Rick ended up in a coma, but was also to emphasis and show that bond and brotherly friendship they share with one another. Props to them for not only doing so so well, but doing so so well on the first day of shooting together.

I assume they had a few meet ups and a few chemistry tests and whatnot before their first day of filming, but you are right when they filmed it they weren’t anywhere close to having the same bond that rick and Shane does on screen

I remember I first saw the walking dead when the very first episode aired on AMC. I knew it was the first to make a TV show about zombies. And I was quite interested with that alone. I figured the zombies would be cheap, considering it's a tv show. But never the less, there was a lot of build-up to see a zombie, and when me and my dad finally did, our jaws hit the floor. Bicycle Girl walker was at far the most realistic and detailed looking zombie we'd ever seen. Good times.
CleanserOfNoobs Same, I remember how I got into this show but at the time I was still adjusting to like being scared (And now I love it to this day 🤣) I didn’t see the first episode of season 1 it was the first episode of season 2 just as Sophia went missing. An when I saw rick throw that rock at the walker’s face I Busted out laughing, an I got just a little more into it Then that’s when Carl got shot 😱 I didn’t know what to think at first my heart cried out for him when Hershel was getting a fragment out an he was screaming...but after he survived I got even more curious to what will come next.
Then when Sophia came out of that barn. It felt like the hope was just ripped right out of me...I never been so happy in my life to be part of The Walking Dead family, I’m the reason why me and my family are still watching it today, Thank you AMC 😊💘👍
