I've conveniently just hit Level 38, so this is a new option I'll have to consider. Now if only I could get out enough to find good places to nominate.
Which is a huge mistake on niantic's part - they should explain before you do your first nomination that you're creating a review for 5-25 people to get any submission review completed, thus if you're not doing 5-25 reviews for each submission, you're just making the situation worse. Instead they created a huge swathe of unknowing parasites. And there might be some more community vitriol for the knowing parasites who repeatedly submit abusive nominations for their own gain, if more of their community saw the community effort and good will these burned.
Hi, almost 15k reviews done here ^^ Thank you for emphasizing taking the test yourself and not cheating through it. I'm not 100% sure if you've covered it but I would have mentioned the Wayfinder rating as well. The better your rating, the more your reviews affect the outcome of a nomination. The more you agree with other reviewers and Niantic's pre-reviewed nominations, the better your rating gets. There's also an ingame medal that you get points for if your rating is Good or Great.

Thank you for spreading awareness. As an active reviewer i can confirm it works. I started as reviewer 10 months ago and so far got 75 new pokestops including 15 new gyms in my local area.
I feel like reviewing will help a lot of people make good nominations. You get to see the mistakes people make when nominating and be able to avoid making them yourself.
Thanks for your help! I recently got a pokestop approved next to my house. I wanted to mention I did fail the test twice and it actually just had me wait 30 minutes to take it again
That's good to hear. Hopefully we get some out here because right now there's a couple of signs and a gym about 3 miles away and a good 45 minute drive to town where we can actually grind.
Viewers should know that not everything can be a unique POI. For example, you should not nominate a slide AND a swing set within the same playground. The playground is one POI. They are only separate POI if they are separated by a significant distance. Maybe there's a playground and then 50 meters away, there's some balance beam equipment - those may be legit different POI.
I nominated many places for stops and i could see upgrade below them but i was afraid what was it so i only upgraded one in confusion,which even got rejected 🤣. I managed to create one gym and 4 stops all because of your video your help thanks Daxi Sir. I had 0 stop(s) in my area,its a rural area. Nearest stop to me was around 60-70 km far. Last but not least Thanks!❤️....i will keep nominating stops...the chances got reset so i have 7 chances,i will start nominating from tomorrow onwards ✌️
There might be a maximum amount of reviews you can do in a segment of time. For example I’ve reviewed 45 Pokéstops in an hour(ish) & was given a “cooldown” time of 12 hours. To candid and transparent I reviewed each one very carefully I’ve turned down 6 of the 45 of the submitted nomination Pokéstops for subtle clerical, Pokéstops’ location not being exactly where it’s posted on the maps, or errors &/or grammatical errors. Most nominations did very well with their submissions. I’ve even left notes for the nominations before submitting the review. Even with all that I’ve still been given a “cooldown” time of 12 hours. Even though a single account(level 37+ Pokémon Go account) can submit 40 nominations. You can only review so many in a day.
Our lil' town is just right. 6 Gyms, and 14 stops. Got friends in each team, but (I'm the only Red one so I can destroy my friends' gyms. We each have 2. No more no less.)
if you have played ingress before pokemon go. Wayfarer will check ingress lvl and not that of pokemon go. So you have to lvl your ingress account instead
I’ve finally started reviewing. Sadly, I’ve upgraded two things and it’s already been over a week for one and nearly a week fut the other. Sufficed to say, this isn’t entirely true. Which is a shame because it makes sense

I’ve reviewed just over 200 submissions already and I’m at 70% for getting an upgrade. And, the most absurd submission I’ve seen so far was a light post. Bruh, a light post. The picture looked like it was taken from the roof of a building too. 🤣

The only sidewalks in my country are in the capital city two hours from where I live. I hope this doesn’t automatically fail every Pokéstop I nominate.
I'm playing pokego in rural area, I just want my place to be nominate to be pokestop which I can do the comday or event if I was busy with assignment, I just fail my wayfarer test, Just wanna study and this video really refreshes me my mind up to become a reviewer, pray for my next test, hoping to be one of the reviews. In 3 hours yeah.. I have tone of upgraded nominations for 6 month or so. And previously it was taking a year, before I've started bonus location swaping thing here. So you can't say upgraded pokestope will be reviewed in X hours, it's varies a lot depend on region

FYI safe access does not mean it needs a sidewalk down the entire road leading up to that area. That boat ramp should have been a 5 star for safe access because it’s completely safe to access on foot once you’re already in the parking lot. Otherwise, once you get too far out of the city, almost every nomination would be rejected because sidewalks aren’t nearly as common. Safe access should only get a bad rating when the nomination is somewhere that a person normally cannot get to safely, such as in the middle of a roundabout or on a bridge meant for vehicles without a walking path. Also, visually unique is more for being able to help identify a POI, not necessarily whether it has a unique design. For example, if there’s only one gazebo in a local park but it looks exactly the same as a gazebo 5 miles away, it should still get a 5 for visually unique because there are none like it in the immediate area and you would easily be able to identify that gazebo as the PokéStop. Conversely, if there are multiple similar-looking gazebos near each other in the same park, they are all eligible wayspots but should get a lower rating for visually unique. Hope that helps.

I watched this video and passed my test first try :) I have been reviewing a bunch, it's fun, but for some reason I fell from "good" rating to "fair" when I did not click on a "I'm a real person" check box. I didn't click on it bc I went to check my rating, and ironically that seemed to affect my rating. I can't tell if it dropped because of that, or because I hit a honeypot. Either way it's been fun to see what's nominated in my area.
This video is so old, so I hope I don't get missed. Do pokestops always appear in game? My pokestop was accepted but still hasn't appeared. Wayfarer wrote it should appear within 48 hours, but it has been nearly that long. :(
Watched your video. Passed the test. Lol. But I see where it is difficult to decide how to vote on some. The first few I did definitely had quirks where it could go either way.
They should lower the level to 25 for reviewers and max level for submitters. I would love to start reviewing stops but it’s gonna take me a bit because I live in a semi rural area with very little stop all spread out. I have to go to the historical district of my town in order to do some real grinding and with the heatwave going on it’s nearly impossible.
I've had a one year wait on my nomination that is marked as 'upgrade'. I have total 3 nominations that have been under voting for just over a year, and 3 that have been under voting for two months. I had about 35 stops accepted then I just started getting stops declined for ridiculous reasons. Like a Statue of an historic figure being a natural feature, an ornamental fountain being a seasonal display, and an adventure playground being a restaurant. I am incredibly careful and thorough with my nominations. Always take great photos, often choosing good days to take the photos. Always providing a lot of supporting information. Title descriptions are always accurate and concise. Since I started getting stops declined for made up reasons I haven't had anything accepted. Like I said they have all been on hold 'in voting'?

Intresting an upgraded one took 1 year. Hope this video can shed light for reviewers on not declining things like yours. That's so odd
@ Japp. I would just encourage people who are reviewing nominations to take their time. Not to reject too quickly, and if something is being rejected choose the right reason. It can take a bit longer but it's better to keep it all as accurate as possible :) My Wayfarer rating went from great to poor within a couple of days, maybe that's why there is nothing happening? My current rating is good :) I just wanted to add my nominations are also in tightly pokestop populated areas. I'm using pogomaps and the S2 cells to make sure they are not in the same cell as existing stops. Much higher chance of stuff going through if the area is scarce of pokestops :)

You mentioned that you shouldn’t recommend locations on a military base. I live on a military base and its open to the public. I think in a future video you should add that research should be done before just voting no to stops on military bases.
I have a different problem: My nominations got accepted… but the thing is: some where on the same day in-game and some are even after 3 weeks not in-game. There is lowkey NO POKESTOP nearby… That doesn’t make sense.
is there anyone who currently got into this? a bit confused as i got wayfarer+ extension but there is no star ratings for each thing. its more so a yes or no pick for certain categories
When I get those edit reviews they are 90% of the time russian because I live near there and that is annoying because then I can't pick the best title or description because I don't know the language very well
Cultural significance is a hard one, specially if you get to review nomininations from all over the world, there is a ton of cultures i know nothing about.
What about residential area? It's like eco-friendly estates, built with some cool eco stuff and re-using energy. Is it a good nomination? If not, a postbox of a local musician can be a good nomination? :) Love your videos :D
I also would love to know what I can do to CREATE new Waypoints. What people in my area do a lot is paint electric boxes (For example with a Pikachu or Super Mario picture). Are there other things we could do?
Little free libarys is also a good possiblity, just make sure they are permanent and not on a single recidense ground. Or a painted stone. I have seen several painted as a ladybug or other animals. But it as to be a stone that can not easily be moved. Bug hotels is also a possiblity.
I failed the test and it’s annoying cause there is barely any poke stops in my area and I want to create one to help myself and other players in the area since my area isn’t the best for Pokémon Go

As i was reviewing nominations that was potentially a duplicate, how do we know if that is actually a duplicates submission? Are those actually a waypoint already or are those submissions that are multiple which makes it a duplicates?

the chances get reset every two weeks, the moment you use a chance u get that chance back in 14 days

You mentioned that you shouldn’t recommend locations on a military base. I live on a military base and its open to the public. I think in a future video you should add that research should be done before just voting no to stops on military bases.
I have a different problem: My nominations got accepted… but the thing is: some where on the same day in-game and some are even after 3 weeks not in-game. There is lowkey NO POKESTOP nearby… That doesn’t make sense.

When I get those edit reviews they are 90% of the time russian because I live near there and that is annoying because then I can't pick the best title or description because I don't know the language very well
I used common sense and I got a rating of good reviewer . I became a reviewer in 2 minutes but yes I did read the criteria
Cultural significance is a hard one, specially if you get to review nomininations from all over the world, there is a ton of cultures i know nothing about.
How did you kept time on what's going to happen in this video in description 🤔? Did you create and kept time?
What about residential area? It's like eco-friendly estates, built with some cool eco stuff and re-using energy. Is it a good nomination?

Personally i dont live in a big place 8 out of 9 stops ive nominated and have been accepted has been a playground
My nominations has been 2 years now its crazy it doesnt get approved or even rejected
some areas dont have a lot of reviewer. You could play ingress to lvl 10 to vote for your area

I also would love to know what I can do to CREATE new Waypoints. What people in my area do a lot is paint electric boxes (For example with a Pikachu or Super Mario picture). Are there other things we could do?
Little free libarys is also a good possiblity, just make sure they are permanent and not on a single recidense ground.
Or a painted stone. I have seen several painted as a ladybug or other animals. But it as to be a stone that can not easily be moved.
Bug hotels is also a possiblity.

As i was reviewing nominations that was potentially a duplicate, how do we know if that is actually a duplicates submission? Are those actually a waypoint already or are those submissions that are multiple which makes it a duplicates?
