You can drop all your excess food along the roads for the goats to eat. 🙂 Should you ever bring your weapons and armor into the Fourth Era, you'll find that battle gets easier. Right now you're just defeating yourself. Lydia goes into battle with only her steel armor and sword. Think on that!
Putting 6 perks into the speechcraft skill tree will get you better prices. And, some say, giving a coin to a beggar just before you buy or sell items helps too!
Nice house. Whats in the cellar?

I really need to upgrade my armour and weapons (and Lydia's!)
I will definitely put some more points in speechcraft - thanks for the tip!
We shall find out what's in the cellar soon ;)

You can only adopt two kids in total so pick wisely...There is one in Whiterun and some at the orphanage, plus a girl selling flowers in Solitude i think. kids are great tho. Keep an eye out for kids clothing and toys found as treasure in various places. They will need their own rooms with beds. If you give them toys, including wooden swords they will play with them. They will also ask if you brought them stuff and will give you things they find. Congrats on getting a house. Always feels great when you do. Beware of the dinner invitation. No spoilers, but be prepared for something interesting and if lucky, rewarding.

THANKS! Home ownership is tough IRL so I gotta live it out in Skyrim LOL
Darn, so you're saying I can't adopt every kid I see in Skyrim?! My heart is broken.
I knew the dinner was too good to be true... time to suit up and get ready for a fight haha.

If you run out of room in your inventory, draw a bow if you have one and walk slowly. You'll be able to move faster when you're carrying too much.

Omg this is my favourite tip!! That's so funny that the game registers you drawing your bow and walking as faster than simply walking normally with your full inventory 😂

Aw thank you, I'm so glad you're enjoying it so far! Glad you were able to get pulled back in, Skyrim seems like a timeless game that you can never get tired of!

Yes! Lydia is my pack mule, but not a good one sometimes LOL. Need to try that hack where I drop stuff in front of her to get her to pick it up!

Try to find a "dirty" path in the snowy mountains. Do you have the Illusion spell, "clairvoyance"? It helps tremendously in caves, dungeons, and barrows.

I feel like I do have that spell... will definitely need to equip it because I'm horrible at exploring! :P

@@prettyokatgames You can get it from Farengar or Embershard mine. Using it won't raise your illusion skill like 'flames' or 'healing' raises theirs respectively, but I like it over following the arrows in the HUD.
You are doing well and have come a long way. 🙂The best is yet to come...
