- Cycling in Emilia Romagna, Italy. I had an absoloutely amazing time cycling around this beautiful area of Italy!
Emilia Romagna is a region in northern Italy, extending from the Apennine Mountains to the Po River in the north. It's known for its medieval cities, amazing food and seaside resorts.
Join me on an adventure around this area in preparation for the Gran Fondo del Po.

Wonderfull countryside to ride in and at the end a tiny sandwich ( worlds best?) and a large glass of red! Feeling no pain I guess 😎

What a luxurious hotel that must be swimming pool , cycling facilities, gym and my personal favourite the “SPAR” upstairs (my brain had to work really hard for a few seconds to realise u meant spa haha , was wondering why you’d be so excited by a spar never mind it being in a hotel

The socks are wicked cool. Is it law or custom that eye protection be worn? Counting the near oops that could have hurt in my life, I rate eye extremely high. Someone at lunch liked their bib shorts way too much.

Do you have any idea about the Julius Caesar statue at the Rubicone River ? It is one of the most important, epic, oft cited moments in Roman history and the advance of civilization. You make a joke instead of mentioning the significance of the place you had passed. It is the origin of the saying “crossing the Rubicon” and the ramifications of such.
This is where she crossed the line! BTW, I doubt she knows the saying, thereby explaining the omission. Since no one else commented, it appears that this is representative of cyclists more generally....
