Thank you for your review. Super thorough! I was trying to avoid the Montaigne because I didn't like that it didn't have a secure closure... However that zipper pocket is perfect sized for my important essentials now that I see it on your video.
Now I'm torn between noir, rose ballerine, and taupe!

Hi Sherin, thank you so much for detailed video! I was thinking of getting this bag but one thing that holds me back is the fact that empreinte softens over time and I'm worried that the bag will lose its shape as the leather softens. Do you think it will become kinda slouchy/sagged due to softening of leather? Would appreciate if you could share your opinions on this. Thanks in advance. :)

Hi there. I was doing research on this bag and I came across your video, thanks for sharing your thoughts on the bag. I am considering purchasing either this bag or the newly released LV pochette metis in the Empreinte leather. Are you still enjoying this bag? Do you use it mostly for daytime? I am looking for something that I can use mainly for everyday use but can still be easily used for evening as well. What do you think? My montaigne's rubber/latex at the handle is literally melting, making both the handle kinda stick together, are you having the same problem?
Is the embossing holding up well? I get scared that if I wear crossbody that it will fade. Do u wear yours crossbody a lot?
Thanks for the review! I've been debating either BB or MM anD as much as I like the idea that the MM can hold more, I find it z bit too big. And knowing now that the BB does quite fit a lot, I'm steering towards BB more!

yes i've tried it on and i'm leaning towards the BB...not sure if i i like the handles sticking up when the strap is on. =S but now it's deciding on colour. lol

Thanks for taking the time to review the Montaigne BB. I was considering MM and now I might want the BB. Mostly since the BB comes with crossbody strap. Plus the MM might look a bit bigger on my very petite frame. (I go back and forth on the sizes everyday, tomorrow I might want the MM again, sigh...) I totally agree with you that since the handle drops inside the bag, it doesn't rub against your hips, which is a pro! I hated my current bags handle hurting my hip when I try to run and catch a bus.

Sherin Ng I took the plunged and got a pink Montaigne MM. I figure since the MM is not too too big for me, with just a few hundred $ difference, I should get the bigger version. The only thing is that it only came with a shoulder strap and not crossbody, so I splurge and order a BB crossbody strap to go with it, I know I know, it's bad. It's already been delivered to my in-law's house, I should be getting it tomorrow. I'm so excited, can't wait to finally get it and use it!! Yeah!!!

Nice review! This bag remind me a bit the ladydior bag don't know why! Maybe the size, handles and the shoulder strap! But your bag can fit a lots more inside than ladydior!
angelbirdbb love the look of the lady dior too but i'm not too sure about the small opening on top! that said when others carry it, it's always very stunning!

Im tempted for LV pallas bag, because i lik the double magnet pocket, the combination of the leather and canvas. tat looks convenient and suitable for daily use.. but for the price for canvas + leather bag i don know whether it worth the money or not, hmmm
