Having fun killing a few birds with one stone--recovering from a traumatic brain injury in November 2023, brought me back to the hills of WNY & NWPA. Having a blast, getting exercise, learning how to edit, and most importantly, making the best of what I can :) There will be more adventure as I heal, and relatively speaking moving toward rugged outdoor shenanigans.
I had lived in south central Texas for 15 yrs. I am enjoying the winter here in NY, although mild, it has presented some nice opportunities to enjoy nature and snow. Given my situation I can't handle much more anyway, thus one reason why I'm doing the videos--to stay active and heal with nature, snow, and crisp air.
Secondly, since I can't go very far, i.e. home all the time, and can't work, I have more time to explore some ideas I have had for a couple of years now. I am inspired and have learned from those on "my interests" section of the channel; when I am healed I will be ready for some rugged outdoor shenanigans and will have already begun tackling the learning curve (for editing and presentation of content) on the back end. I'm hoping, too, that folks that don't live around snow, and have or haven't, but want to live vicariously through some blistery action, can through this video.

Update (2/14/24) I am thinking about returning to Muay Thai if I can heal 100% by 6/30/24
