Good luck on your phone interview! I competed in Miss Maryland USA back in 2010 (I'm old now hahaha). It was one of the best experiences I've ever had and made so many friends from it. You got this!
lau, super proud of you! you did amazing! also, as someone who dyes things fairly frequently for costumes, i would recommend not cooking in those pots you dyed in! i bought a stainless steel one on amazon and just use that as my dye pot. rit isn't food grade safe and not to give you a jumpscare but, per rit: "It's always best to keep containers for dyeing separate from those used for cooking. If you must use a container that's also used for cooking, it is recommended to clean the container with chlorine bleach or a powdered cleanser after dyeing." just want to make sure you and will stay safe! x

Girl, just try to remember that this is your first New York competition. Not to mention you’re doing a lot of it by yourself your hair your make up. So your time management’s gonna be different. Think of this as a growing and learning time so you can better prepare yourself for future Miss New York events. I love that you’re willing to venture out of the Alabama style and go for a more mature, fierce look. And remember Philippians 4:13. I can do all things through Chris who strengthens me.
