Great job! Again, didnt see a single rules mistake.
A good piece of advice; encountering air elementals and focusing on their essence is the key to winning level 2 and 3 monsters as it remove one of their combat dice, significantly increasing your odds of survival. It's a bit of a cheese, but sometimes it's the only way! Give it a try and maybe liberate that Dragon Slayer Tower. Unlock the bext gear and also make Gaar tokens available for purchase.
Doing great man! Please, please ,PLEASE keep the Euthia content coming! Its an absolute treat to watch 😄

Thanks again - really appreciate it and good catch on the air elementals, which could give you the edge of winning tougher monsters! Good (pro) tip ;-)

Thanks a lot for making these videos! PS regarding teleporters: from what I gather from the rules, you CAN use them multiple times in a round, but you must first leave the spot you land on by walking off it, and then come back to it. So the only restriction is that you can't just zoom around the map from teleporter to teleporter and unlock new tiles without using any movement points.

Thanks much! And indeed that’s what I learned in the meantime about those portals. Thanks for confirming this!

For portals, you are allowed to use the same portal multiple times in the same round, as long as you step off of it and then step back into it. I think it's to prevent spamming a water elemental to heal without actually moving.
At the end, don't forget to use the scout ability for its other use. If you don't want to use the movement, use it to explore 2 monsters. That way you get more choice on what you fight next.

Ah - that was it! You have to move out an in again; this makes sense. Thanks for confirming!

That was a very mean gecko!
Their mother was a cute gecko, but daddy was a Komodo dragon! lol
I think you forgot the -2 damage from the charge on Shadow Kitty's first attack. @27:50 (Give yourself a potion to compensate, if that was the case lol)
TBH I would have taken the Dodge ability rather than the extra move, as your dude is pretty mobile with the boots and the charge ability.
Rolling a 1+2 on just about every attack...the fickle Dice Gods! You could have one shot the Kitty if they had been kinder!
    And ANOTHER 3! lol
Really enjoying this playthrough, many thanks Markus.
If I say it's like a Mage Knight Lite, that isn't meant in a negative way. I'd be more likely to get Euthia to the table as it wouldn't melt my brain! lol

I told you it was a vicious one! :-D And yes, it’s absolutely much lighter than Mage Knight and I personally prefer that. This one you read once and then you can directly dive in. MK is a constant rules referral until you have some confidence.

Euthia has a flow to it, from what I've seen.
You make a decision on what you want to do next, do it and then react to circumstances as they happen.
Some won't like the level of chance involved, and prefer the greater determinacy of Mage Knight, but then by nature it becomes a more abstract game that takes you out of the immediacy of immersion into the narrative.
MK is a mini puzzle every turn, Not a bad thing of course, but it means there is a bigger gap between the mechanisms and the theme, if that makes sense.
I wouldn't want to play MK multiplayer.
I'd take too long to sort out the card play people would get seriously annoyed with me! lol

@pencilpauli9442 True that but I like the chaos! That’s why I prefer „Defenders of the Realm“ over „Pandemic“, as I am simply not a good puzzler. It’s easier to complain about poor dice rolls ;-)

FWIW I've just noticed that Steamforged Games have bought the Euthia IP and are going to have a KS in July.
May have to wait and see what if any differences there will be,
One thing I did notice is that the game looks highly overproduced.
I like the minis you've used so far, I can take that, but I'm not a fan of huge boss minis, which serve only to push the price of a game beyond what I'm willing to pay! lo
I checked out one of my favourite online stores in the UK.
Euthia is currently out of stock, but they have slashed the price of the core game!
      From £105 down to £104.99!
Should I ask them to notify me when it's back in stock? I would hate to miss out on such a bargain! 🤔
      🤣🤣

I also like the random elements in thematic games. Totally with you there, Markus.
It's not like the dice take away the player's agency, and it sets up situations you cannot always predict, which means you then have to respond on the fly.
It's a bit like life in that respect.
I enjoy puzzley games, too, but that works best in a strategic sense.
MK uses a puzzle to solve tactical levels of play. Which is fine, but at the cost of immersive flow, imho.
