I think the reason Most believers get hung up on what you’re talking about is because of the wine/alcohol drunkenness aspect that is pictured/assumed in this passage.
I think the meaning of this chapter is to show that we can have fun rejoice and enjoy life,
But again the Scriptures against drunkenness and being drunk with wine and drunkenness as a sin of the flesh is needed to be brought into the picture.
But not about eating too much???? There’s was much feasting for 7 days at the wedding
