Hummingbird crochet pattern

- This tiny little crocheted hummingbird measures just about 2.5 inches long and 3 inches wide.It can be used as a keychain, bag charm, crib mobiles or an ornament.works up pretty quickly.

Materials-
crochet thread no 10 (3colors of your choice)
hook-1.25mm
embroidery floss(black)
mod podge
tapestry needle and scissors.

I really liked pattern works real good, maybe put in when doing wings that that first row of stitches would be the wing, the row where you attach to body, once I did it then made sense! Great pattern though!!!!

Yes, there is a typo in the subtitles at 26:41 where it reads: "...pull up the green yarn and do a schdrop the blue yarn". It should be: "...pull up the green yarn and do a sc, drop the blue yarn and continue with the green yarn. The wings are quite simple but sometimes she is working out of shot and some things are unclear. If you go to the Settings wheel at the bottom right of the video you can choose to slow down the playback speed. Essentially I think you just work each feather the same, working one st down the body as you go and changing the colour.
As for the abbreviations: R1, R2 etc. means row or round 1, 2 etc. Might not be clear to people with not much English.
SC = single crochet; HDC = half double crochet. There is also mention of TC - I'm English and this abbreviation doesn't exist in UK terminology. I looked it up and it doesn't seem to in US either, so I assume it's a typo and she means sc. Hard to check the video and watch the exact stitch as it is sometimes out of synch a little with the subtitles.
INC means to work 2 stitches into only one stitch below, thus increasing by one stitch.
DEC means to work 2 stitches over the next 2 stitches below, thus decreasing by one stitch. In other words, you work half the first sc without finishing it, then start the next sc the same way, then yarn round and pull through all the loops on hook.
R B G are the colours of the yarn. Again it seems obviously but if you don't speak English or are a beginner it might not be obvious!
An easy way to keep up with what's going on and catch up if you're a little behind is to pause the video and scribble things down so you can work them out. I have a Mac and you can easily pause and restart videos by simply pressing the space bar. I find that really handy when I'm trying to figure things out. Not sure if it's the same on a PC but I'm sure there is a shortcut of some sort.

I am very experienced with patterns, but I also just don't understand how to crochet the wings. You just don't see in the video, because there are always fingers cover up the sight. The video never stops to see the steps or results in between. It is a pity, because the bird looks so sweet.

What does Schdrop mean in Row 1 of the wings? I think it was a typo and should be sc and drop color. I’m having such difficulty with the wings! Could someone please help me and make it more clear!!
