Fun fact: Taehyun was the only one in TXT that doesn't want to apply the leader position test, because he said "if I got chosen as the leader of TXT, I know I'll make a great grup but i don't know if my members will be happy or not." because he thinks he's will lead the grup in strict way.. He's so mature to thinking about members happiness first... He said this back on idol room if if I'm not mistaken
Hueningkai once said he really likes talking and hearing taehyun talk b/c whenever there is a discussion, he gives his answers very wisely but there are times he gives a wise logical answer with humor and he laughs a lot when he hears it.
The fact that you had no idea that Soobin was the leader makes your reaction more genuine. The dynamic between these boys changes constantly - get ready for a rollercoaster ride with each personality and the dynamic they have as a team.

Actually Taehyun is the one who don’t miss the occasion to tell everyone that Soobin is the best leader. But your confusion is understandable, Soobin is quite a special leader compared to other groups. He is the only introvert of the group and he doesn’t do all of the talks like you would see most of the leaders doing. He really let the other members express themselves. Taehyun once described Soobin as a « supportive leader » and explained that he doesn’t lead the team one sidedly but brings out the best of every member.

It seemed like Yeonjun was preoccupied in the previous video. Since he’s the eldest, he takes on some extra responsibility. He does seem to keep his family life and social life to himself, where the others turn to each other more for friendship. He had always wanted some brothers or sisters and here he has 4 little brothers. He used to literally place food in Taehyun and Beomgyu’s mouths, and smooth Huening Kai’s hair in public, like an attentive caregiver. Taehyun has been acting and modeling since he was very young. I think that contributes to his poise and confidence, especially in front of the camera. I’m glad you’re impressed with some of my favorite people.
I know you know by now that the leader is Soobin, but I can totally understand thinking of Taehyun at first or second watch. Soobin definitely strikes me as more of an understated kind of leader, he's quieter and happy to let everyone have their moment. I find with groups like BTS for example, RM can sometimes stand out as a leader in English interviews as he can answer faster or translate, and will automatically be a little more confident because of the language thing. With TXT the members are more even in terms of English speaking, and I think it helps balance English interviews quite well. They're very close and I think you're pretty good at feeling them out so far. The boys are all a little chaotic but very entertaining. Huening Kai is the baby and really looks up to the others, and he's very playful, and a talented musician who plays several instruments. He also has a very loud and contagious laugh. Taehyun is confident, and has quite a savage sense of humour. He's always been close with fans and would give advice and support in his livestreams. He and Huening Kai are the two youngest and are really close as well. Also he never blinks I swear. Beomgyu is on the surface very silly and playful, and I remember you guessed he'd be the one deliberately annoying and teasing the others and that's very true. He can appear a bit moody as well. But he is one of those people who will be thoughtful, generous and caring without being showy about it. Yeonjun is the oldest and confident, charming and flirty with the members and fans alike. one of my favorite things about txt is their group dynamic. even though i don't know what they are like off camera they seem to have a great bond with each other. their interviews can be hit or miss with showcasing the best parts of their personalities though. probably bc of nerves and whether or not it's an english or korean interview. i think that's why moa's love the jessi showterview so much. it was the perfect blend of a korean and english interview. the boys were so relaxed and they were just joking around being themselves the whole time. it would be great to see your reaction to the jessi showterview interview one day. there is a lot to talk about in that one!
Taehyun is very smart and quite humorous if you watch some of the interviews. He's witty also. That's why he's my bias. I love him because he's so sweet, kind and generous to his members.
I honestly love TXT as a group. They're always 100% genuine and the friendship between them is so real that it is easy to feel connected to them. They are also all very different which I think is actually why they get on so well as they can easily bounce off one another and balance each other out. Soobin is a very different kind of leader to what you would expect, but I think what you were saying about the members gravitating towards him to speak to and feel comfortable around is definitely why he got the position. He is a relatable and reassuring presence for them. Loved the video!!

I love how you are seeing the leadership skills in Taehyun even though he's not actually the leader of the group. I too feel that he's very confident and comfortable when speaking and communicating with his members. Soobin is actually the leader which I did not expected before because of his shy and introverted personality. But as I watch more of their videos, interviews and interactions with each other, I understood why they chose him as their leader. It's because he always listen, as what you said, he really has a good listening skills that his members feel comfortable of telling him their problems and stories in life. He's also very reliable and endearing person.
i'm also fairly new to txt and finding out their personalities too, and my biggest surprises were - how taehyun is very logical and quite different from the other members in this sense - how beomgyu is such a sassy and witty crackhead lmao luv this boi - how soobin also has a sassy side to him, i always thought of him as shy good boy but he's got some confidence to him too my perceptions on yeonjun and hueningkai were quite accurate from the start, but the other are not at all what I expected from first impressions lol

As always I enjoyed this video so much 🥰 Soobin really is the sweetest soul around. I still remember him bursting into tears while listening to this one recording of a MOA telling him how well he does as a leader.

Yeonjun and Beomgyu have the most intense personalities. They are the ones wilding it out the most usually. But in interviews, I feel that Yeonjun tones it down a lot. He's the oldest member and doesn't seem to want the spotlight over his younger members. Outside the interviews, he's quite the attention seeker lol!
Thank you for the reaction to txt, they’re my #1 group, not just because of they’re music but because of how funny and charming their personalities are! Their group dynamic is so warm and comfortable that even when they have an interview like this it really just feels like 5 friends hanging out and enjoying each other’s company. I love your analysis of Taehyun and I appreciate that fact that just because he’s articulate and thoughtful when speaking that you don’t just write him off as cold, which first time viewers of TXT tend to do. I agree with you that Yeonjun is a wild card, he’s very sporadic and spontaneous with his slapstick like humour , giving off the impression that he’s one of the youngest despite actually being the eldest 😅 Txt despite having four extroverts and one introvert are very well balanced in terms of taking the lead in different situations and settings, I think this is due to Soobin being able to be comfortable letting the others show off their leader qualities though being the actual leader himself. As you said he seems to hold them all together in a more quiet and reassuring way, whilst also being able to express his own opinions. The members, Taehyun especially, have all said that Soobin isn’t necessarily the type of leader that makes decisions right off the bat, but listens to each member’s views and opinions, takes them into account and is able to find the answer most suited to everyone. They have said multiple times that this way of leading makes them all very comfortable and included, and is one of the reasons why they view him as one of the best leaders 😊 They’re all very close with one another both as a group or one on one with each other… Yeonjun and Taehyun have known each other the longest and at multiple points have mentioned how proud they are of how far each other have come since they first met when they were trainees. Soobin and beomgyu have grown so close (with the help of having been room mates) that Soobin often lets beomgyu drop honourifics with him. Taehyun and Hueningkai are literally the best of friends and know each other inside and out, they love being roommates and quite often can be seen playing around or clinging to one another. Yeonjun treats Hueningkai as his eternal baby brother, he gets shocked when he realises how tall kai has grown (he used to be the smallest when they were trainees, now he’s the 2nd tallest), he hates the thought of Hueningkai Kai gaining abs because he loves Kai’s “cute baby belly” and he literally thinks that everything Kai does is the cutest thing in the world. Anyway, what I was trying to say overall is that these boys are honestly so deeply caring, welcoming and make Moa (their fans) feel like we’re best friends with them. I absolutely loved your reaction and analysis and can’t wait for you to react to more txt 🥰

I think the leader was chosen from the two elders, Yeonjoon already has the role of the oldest hyung and the responsibility for the younger ones, and he is more emotional. Therefore, a calm Soobin as a leader is a good choice. These two are a good tandem.
No, they choose the leader by doing a leader simulation for a few weeks with each member when they're still trainee. At the end of the simulations, the trainee development staffs & the members voted for Soobin

The only reactor that i watch and actually learn from .. as an introvert myself i find your reactions very helpful ..and you're the only one thati wach for another reaon than my boys (bts and txt) About k pop groups during promotions they do alot of interviews at a time and promotions might be extrely tiring so somtimes they cant be engaged during all the activities they do

taehyun and hueningkai have been radio DJs for 4 months listening radio (EBS Channel), Beomgyu has been a radio DJ on Kiss the Radio YoungK for 3 weeks (KBS Channel), Soobin has been an MC Music Bank for 1 year 3 months (KBS channel ), while yeonjun used to be an actor in the drama "Live On"... even they will be scheduled again to fill the position of radio DJ for Kiss The Radio in turn... So their communication skills are very good, even some MCs from variety shows called them "variety show idols" because they always interact and communicate very well during broadcasts, they have a very high level of self-confidence, and all the members support each other. when talking, and also all members are good at speaking English

I think the problem with a lot of these American style interviews is that they have to be short. So the people editing only leve in what they think represents the person or group, so you keep getting a different side instead of a full view. A lot of the korean variety shows leave in a lot of slip up and "bloopers" so you get to see more of them.
I hope you can react to Seventeen! They are 13 members group debuted in 2015 and consisted of 3 units which is the Hiphop unit, Vocal unit and Performance unit. They have been together for a really long time. I think it will be very interesting and fun for you to react to them

I think the reason why Huening kai was looking at Taehyung like that is because they are the same age which a few months in between, so you would find that dynamic with members of the same age in kpop specially if they are the two or three youngest of the group another example would be Jimin and v the 95 liners(this are best friend, they have been friend since high school and they describe themselves as soulmates) or if you are going to react to got7(which you should, they were the senior group stray kids) the two youngest members Bambam and Yugyeom are the youngest two (fun fact:they are really good friend of Jungkook, Yugyeom is in fact in Jungkook's best friend outside bts )
I love these kids…they are young, a little awkward and paving their path in a different way, I think! Soobin is a lot like Jungwon (from ENHYPEN) where they're much more gentle and quiet leaders. It makes an interesting dynamic but I think it is fitting for their groups :)

I honestly love TXT as a group. They're always 100% genuine and the friendship between them is so real that it is easy to feel connected to them. They are also all very different which I think is actually why they get on so well as they can easily bounce off one another and balance each other out. Soobin is a very different kind of leader to what you would expect, but I think what you were saying about the members gravitating towards him to speak to and feel comfortable around is definitely why he got the position. He is a relatable and reassuring presence for them. Loved the video!!
I was laughing so hard whenever "Taehyun being the leader" was mentioned, bcs it is a commont thing that everyone guesses txt's leader position wrong. haha
I love how you are seeing the leadership skills in Taehyun even though he's not actually the leader of the group. I too feel that he's very confident and comfortable when speaking and communicating with his members. Soobin is actually the leader which I did not expected before because of his shy and introverted personality. But as I watch more of their videos, interviews and interactions with each other, I understood why they chose him as their leader. It's because he always listen, as what you said, he really has a good listening skills that his members feel comfortable of telling him their problems and stories in life. He's also very reliable and endearing person.

i'm also fairly new to txt and finding out their personalities too, and my biggest surprises were
- how taehyun is very logical and quite different from the other members in this sense
- how beomgyu is such a sassy and witty crackhead lmao luv this boi
- how soobin also has a sassy side to him, i always thought of him as shy good boy but he's got some confidence to him too
my perceptions on yeonjun and hueningkai were quite accurate from the start, but the other are not at all what I expected from first impressions lol
hi! everyone is recommending jessi's interview which i highly agree but another suggestion would be their interview with mmtg (its a little long but i also feel like they are very comfortable and you see more of a playful side towards them as well)

Soobin really is the sweetest soul around. I still remember him bursting into tears while listening to this one recording of a MOA telling him how well he does as a leader.

Yeonjun and Beomgyu have the most intense personalities. They are the ones wilding it out the most usually. But in interviews, I feel that Yeonjun tones it down a lot. He's the oldest member and doesn't seem to want the spotlight over his younger members. Outside the interviews, he's quite the attention seeker lol!
Thank you for the reaction to txt, they’re my #1 group, not just because of they’re music but because of how funny and charming their personalities are! Their group dynamic is so warm and comfortable that even when they have an interview like this it really just feels like 5 friends hanging out and enjoying each other’s company. I love your analysis of Taehyun and I appreciate that fact that just because he’s articulate and thoughtful when speaking that you don’t just write him off as cold, which first time viewers of TXT tend to do. I agree with you that Yeonjun is a wild card, he’s very sporadic and spontaneous with his slapstick like humour , giving off the impression that he’s one of the youngest despite actually being the eldest 😅 Txt despite having four extroverts and one introvert are very well balanced in terms of taking the lead in different situations and settings, I think this is due to Soobin being able to be comfortable letting the others show off their leader qualities though being the actual leader himself. As you said he seems to hold them all together in a more quiet and reassuring way, whilst also being able to express his own opinions. The members, Taehyun especially, have all said that Soobin isn’t necessarily the type of leader that makes decisions right off the bat, but listens to each member’s views and opinions, takes them into account and is able to find the answer most suited to everyone. They have said multiple times that this way of leading makes them all very comfortable and included, and is one of the reasons why they view him as one of the best leaders 😊 They’re all very close with one another both as a group or one on one with each other… Yeonjun and Taehyun have known each other the longest and at multiple points have mentioned how proud they are of how far each other have come since they first met when they were trainees. Soobin and beomgyu have grown so close (with the help of having been room mates) that Soobin often lets beomgyu drop honourifics with him. Taehyun and Hueningkai are literally the best of friends and know each other inside and out, they love being roommates and quite often can be seen playing around or clinging to one another. Yeonjun treats Hueningkai as his eternal baby brother, he gets shocked when he realises how tall kai has grown (he used to be the smallest when they were trainees, now he’s the 2nd tallest), he hates the thought of Hueningkai Kai gaining abs because he loves Kai’s “cute baby belly” and he literally thinks that everything Kai does is the cutest thing in the world.
Anyway, what I was trying to say overall is that these boys are honestly so deeply caring, welcoming and make Moa (their fans) feel like we’re best friends with them. I absolutely loved your reaction and analysis and can’t wait for you to react to more txt 🥰

I think the leader was chosen from the two elders, Yeonjoon already has the role of the oldest hyung and the responsibility for the younger ones, and he is more emotional. Therefore, a calm Soobin as a leader is a good choice. These two are a good tandem.
No, they choose the leader by doing a leader simulation for a few weeks with each member when they're still trainee. At the end of the simulations, the trainee development staffs & the members voted for Soobin

taehyun and hueningkai have been radio DJs for 4 months listening radio (EBS Channel), Beomgyu has been a radio DJ on Kiss the Radio YoungK for 3 weeks (KBS Channel), Soobin has been an MC Music Bank for 1 year 3 months (KBS channel ), while yeonjun used to be an actor in the drama "Live On"... even they will be scheduled again to fill the position of radio DJ for Kiss The Radio in turn... So their communication skills are very good, even some MCs from variety shows called them "variety show idols" because they always interact and communicate very well during broadcasts, they have a very high level of self-confidence, and all the members support each other. when talking, and also all members are good at speaking English
I do believe the trust and dependence among them bc many of their choreographies really need trust. I know it doesn't fit your content but if you have time, you can check out their "The Dream Chapter: MAGIC Concept Trailer" and "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE Concept Trailer".

I think the problem with a lot of these American style interviews is that they have to be short. So the people editing only leve in what they think represents the person or group, so you keep getting a different side instead of a full view. A lot of the korean variety shows leave in a lot of slip up and "bloopers" so you get to see more of them.

I think the reason why Huening kai was looking at Taehyung like that is because they are the same age which a few months in between, so you would find that dynamic with members of the same age in kpop specially if they are the two or three youngest of the group another example would be Jimin and v the 95 liners(this are best friend, they have been friend since high school and they describe themselves as soulmates) or if you are going to react to got7(which you should, they were the senior group stray kids) the two youngest members Bambam and Yugyeom are the youngest two (fun fact:they are really good friend of Jungkook, Yugyeom is in fact in Jungkook's best friend outside bts )

Soobin is a lot like Jungwon (from ENHYPEN) where they're much more gentle and quiet leaders. It makes an interesting dynamic but I think it is fitting for their groups :)

yeonjun lately said that he was going through some difficulties, but that he was going to overcome them...
as with BTS and Stray kids I think it could be SUPER interesting to see them while performing. The dualities are unreal. Cute guys turn into sexy demons, reserved ones go berserk, you start looking at them with entirely different eyes then!
