Green Day - Basket Case - Guitar Cover by dame

Hey all. Guitar is something that's been a part of most of my childhood. I grew up idolizing Green Day and had that dream of becoming a rockstar. It got so far as to playing bass in a band called Identity when I was in 8th grade. The band split after we got to high school and, well, you know about my marching career from then on. Anyway, after moving in with my girlfriend to northern california, i found myself regretting my decision to sell all of my electric guitars back in 2014. I found the nearest pawn shop and picked up a new to me strat. Over the last month, I uncovered that love for guitar that I had buried so deep down. I've been relearning some of the songs I knew as a kid and trying to improve and learn the fretboard the way I should have years ago and I've been having an absolute blast. Here's an easy one that's super fun to play. I hope sharing my playing with you on this channel is cool and at least a bit entertaining. Thank you for watching.
