Ive been a cyclist myself too. The fondest memories I have related to cycling and music are from back 2015, when I spent I few days in Amsterdam, doing long bike rides in the outskirts of the city while listening to Tame Impala in my headphones. This album..
It's so hard to express how perfect it is. With all it's imperfections.
It feels so absolutely inspired, has so much soul and emotions. Every single note is irreplaceable and no song can be skipped.
I am so glad to have stumbled upon it. Cuz even though I've always known about the Strokes. And a lot of their songs already are a classic.. I never really thought of them as more than a pleasant radio band.
But I cannot take my mind off this album. It haunts me throughout the day. And I cannot wait to be back home from my work so I can listen to it in it's entirety.

We sometimes don't appreciate what we have until we don't have it any longer. I, as most of you, heard this song for the first time during quarentine, and it kinda reminds me of all the time and beautiful experiences I have missed ("time we lost that's all my fault"), in especial a relationship I would have had with a person I truly like, but I guess we cant have everything we want right? Anyway, I hope I can someday look back at this song and realise that I have the freedom I miss right now.
