I use an electric one too (though not a Ryobi). Mine doesn't run the pump constantly like yours does, but only when the trigger is depressed. I faithfully blow the grass off with a blower, then pressure wash it each and every time I mow with it. I mean, for the money invested, I want to keep it as nice as possible. Will begin doing my tires with armorall as you do. Good video.
Like new again! Have you tried a foam cannon? Works great getting subs all over and blasting grime off. Wished JD sealed the dash better. The display will steam up for weeks now. Happens to mine all the time and I’m very careful not to get it very wet.
Yep...that was the only thing that gave me pause, when he hit the dash cluster with that power sprayer! I know the bigger farm tractors are designed to operate and stay out in the elements...but I've often wondered about the *yard and garden mower variety tractors* staying out in the rain???

Hi Pete, was there a reason why you went with the X739 Gas vs the Diesel X758, I know one reason was the 4WS but is there anything else? I know a lot of X739 users say it drinks a lot of gas. 🙂
@@OrangeismyNewGreen I went with the X739 because of the 4X4 AWS combo. Plus I really didn't know much about Lawn Tractors at the time. My neighbor has a X730 model and I was seeing everything he did with his machine so I figured it would be an upgrade to his JD. I found out later about the whole diesel vs gas thing.. But I think I still would of went with the X739 because of the AWS.. It worked great around my property around the trees, and most of all going sideways on my hills rocking the steering wheel back and fourth for a stable ride and not tipsy at all.
I use de ionized water that saves the drying process Works great for me😜
I agree with the electric pressure washer. Gas is too damn noisy and continuously runs when not in use.

Yeah it always fogs up on me too. haven't used the cannon, but i've seen it before. Might invest in one soon.
