I absolutely need you Lord every second of every day. without you, I would not be able to even live this life.
I am actually an intercessor and I have a personal prayer life, I also lead prayer corporately at my church often and I also lead a prayer team. I haven't felt worthy for God to trust me with such a ministry because i have often struggled with prayer. My Pastor told me when i was a baby in Christ that the enemy would fight me tooth and nail. Pray for me that I stop running and settle to read daily and pray in the holy spirit daily. I cry alot because of this, please pray for me. Thank you, God bless you all. ❤🙏🏽

In Sep.2019 the Lord would wake me up early in the morning to pray, one day I was so tired I kept rolling in the bed, I didn't want to get up. I heard the Holy Spirit say to my spirit, "It is not my responsibility to remind you to pray, It is not my responsibility to remind you to pray." "Make it a habit, make it a habit, make it a habit".
I sat up so quickly and fully awake! I prayed and asked for forgiveness.
How long time do you spending praying later night?

About one hour if I incorporated bible reading or worship and prayer and after the hour an extra 15min of journaling.
I never timed myself or limited myself. Only a few times I checked the time at start and finish.

Yes for sure when we skip or prayer time, we become a bad person through our words, nagging, complaining, ungrateful, and sometimes hurt other people around us

1. Prayerlessness is ungodliness
(prayerlessness is self-reliance. When we go without prayer, we're insinuating we don't need God)
2. Acknowledge your need for the Lord's daily guidance
(When we pray, we acknowledge our dependence on Him. We are broken without Him. It is only in prayer we find sustaining strength that holds us together)
3. Becoming too busy in ministry that we neglect our prayer life.
(We must prefer to spend time with Him instead of doing things for Him i.e ministry driven)
4. Repent and renounce prayerlessness.
(- Repent means to completely change our mind as we recognize that we are wrong and agree that God is right. Renounce means to turn from/ forsake (2 Cor. 7:10). Before we forsake our sin, we first must completely change our minds about it. Thoughts must first change before the behaviour does for lasting transformation.
- Prayerlessness needs to go now, in all forms, in all measures, and for all time. I will be a person of prayer. I agree with You God that I need to depend on You.
- Regret or worldly sorrow is not repentance. We must have godly sorrow)
5. Acknowledge God's forgiveness and acceptance (Heb.10: 22)
(Don't live in the condemnation of past mistakes because our conscience has been cleaned as we have repented and renounced our mistakes. Don't allow the shame of missed days of prayer to pull you away from today's prayer. If we are struggling with a guilty conscience, we will never pray due to the shame of having to rebuild and making up to do. The moment we enter the prayer room, God rebuilds the connection.)
6. Accept responsibility for spiritual discipline (Gal. 4:6)
(The Holy Spirit gives us the desire to pray but we must provide the discipline to choose to excercise our will to pray. You won't always feel like praying. The flesh will always fight us to pray so don't wait for your flesh to want to pray because it will never come. We must disregard our feelings and choose to set aside the time to pray)
7. Take practical measures to implement prayer. Set a schedule. (Matt. 14:23, Mark 6:46-47
- Jesus took time out of His day to pray early in the morning and in the night at a solitary place.
- Jesus increased prayer before a major decision Luke 6:12-13
- Scheduling is spiritual. It reflects the nature of God, which is structure and order.
- Create a schedule and choose a location. Reclaim your morning and night routine. You must know what the day looks like; master the morning by mastering the night time routine.
- Prioritize prayer. Fiercely guard the secret place. Be defensive over it. Don't allow distractions to entice you from daily entering the secret place.)
