You can do this on Suscon road in Pittston Twp, PA. About two hours north on I-81 from your hometown. Your car seems to go uphill from a dead stop in neutral,crazy stuff. It’s very close by Montage In Scranton, try it next time You guys are playing on the mountain. Love the 2022 DW kit.

Hey Rikki , I saw you guys with KISS at Milwaukee..just about 14 years ago (7/7/2004) . I ran in to a mutual friend of ours the other day...Roxanne Jitomir says hello. I went to school with Roxanne and her step mom is my Pastor....Roxanne told me about your film project The Last Supper...I checked it out and it's pretty cool. If you ever get to the NY Twin Tiers , there is a place called Tag's in Big Flats that Poison should play. Those drums look amazing! I thought Rikki had his own drum company, though? Poison is one of those bands that I didn't really love during their heyday, but I listen to them all the time now, and I almost never listen to the 'cool' thrash i used to listen to in the 80's. Seriously, if I'd only had a brain, I would have been where all the hot chicks were instead of the sausage party Megadeth concerts. We need a new Poison record with the classic vibe and sound! Like Rikki said, Keep rock alive!

Dave Lombardo from Slayer said that in 2011, when Slayer did 90 shows, he made $740 per show, totalling 67k. That's one of the biggest thrash metal bands in the world, and after several decades, he's making 67k, and had only recently been made a full partner. The touring business made almost 4.5 million that year, and the two primaries in the band made less than $120k each.
Polishing drums is no picnic unless you're really into polishing drums. lol
Especially if you're polishing the hardware, too...lugs, rims, stands etc.
But, for a living, I'd gladly do it.

Possibly an odd request, and I know nothing you have time to do anytime soon preparing for a major tour and all....but I’d love to see you do a vid on how you edit your videos. My 10 year old son and I like to make vids riding atv’s and stuff, and I’ve been learning LumaFusion and iPad. Of course I’ve seen all the big name vloggers, but I’d love to see and learn more about YOUR way since I’ve been flowing you so long, and since your just kind of a “normal guy” (and fellow Pennsylvanian) posting everyday stuff, not showing off and putting on a show for views.
What sizes are the drums on the tour kit & what sizes do you prefer ?....

Rikki Rockett It maybe just me but I would love to see some of the vantage kits. Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich were my drum teachers hero's, I was amazed at what they could do with so little.

Loving the vlogs. You were a major influence in drumming for me growing up as a kid. Your my first favourite drummer so thanks for that. Thanks for just being a pretty cool person. Hope to meet you one day. Me and a bud met Brett we won backstage passes for rowdiest fans in Toronto shit back in the early 90s. I gave him a Harley pan head t shirt to give to you for a drum stick which I realize is weird cause I wore it to the show then put on my concert t but out of nowhere after we were leaving backstage meet someone comes out of nowhere with a concert t saying Brett couldn't get u a stick so he wanted u to have this. There's a "magnetic hill" in New Brunswick, Canada. The hill is actually an optical illusion. They have a zoo and waterpark by the Canadian one.
My fever last night was 1.4 and now it's 1.2 so let's hope I get better by Monday

Can I have your practice kit? Good lord, it'd be a dream to own his "practice" kit....can't imagine what it'd be like to just go to DW and pick up a custom touring kit. As others have mentioned, why doesn't he play his own Rockett Drum Works drums? I don't recall seeing a single RDW kit (or single drum) on his site that isn't totally bad ass! Must suck to have to decide between playing a bad ass kit or a different bad ass kit. Guarantee that I will NEVER have to make that decision! What a problem to have!

rikki played DW back in 87, then much later, he made his own kits, but i think running his own company was too much for him.

Hm. Was wondering why you chose this color for the kit. Was it for the reflection it will give off of the stage lights or was there other factors in the chose of color? I only ask because in past tours your kits have had elaborate coloring & this seems simple.
