It also removes the right of Iwi to have redress for lands or resources being stolen from them by any of our laws since the government would have "full power" and then be immune to illegality. None of my business but brother to brother of the Pacific Islanders just a small thoughts for all of you guys...Our Constitution doesn't allow any Foreigners to own a land or property unless you are a Citizens or married to the Citizens of the Philippine islands. You can put your business, build the tallest skyscrapers you can have but the land is not yours. You only have the rights to the building. We do have also laws specifically applied to the Indigenous tribes of the islands. They are entitled and it's being given back to them their land. It might not be a perfect law but so far no one is protesting against it. I grew upin the island of Panay. Pretty much my surroundings still kept the way it was before
