For anyone watching, it wasn’t a major fail also he was just being funny, it was the thickness of the tape that the pattern bit of the router ran over which made the pocket template slightly too small at first.
Hey, Thanks so much for watching and contributing - I love it 🙏🏻😃👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I've been looking for a decent video on neck pockets for about an hour now and yours is by far the best
This is looking great! Looking forward the next episode. I'm starting to build mine!
I really like your guitar videos. You explain your processes really well. I'll be using this as inspiration myself. Thanks!
Thanks so much man 🙏😃… really happy you enjoyed it, and thanks for commenting 👍🏼😉
Inspiring 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Love your videos. So many great tips and ideas. Thank you for sharing. You will surely help me and my first build. Cheers. David from Canada...eh?
Thanks so much David. I’m happy you enjoyed the videos. Good luck with your build 😃👍🙏🏻
I had the fear when you where cutting that neck pocket ......... relaxed now great job my man 👍
Thank you! This really helps!
This is the point I‘m stuck at because I don‘t know where to place the bridge and the neck and which way to route it correctly, but you just made it a lot easier :)
Looking forward to more great content from your!

@@MichaelLagerstedt 02:32 Why isn't it perfect? What are the problems there? I removed a year ago the neck of my strat copy and now the body seems to have changed due to humidity. The neck pocket was way too tight anyway. I'm trying to realign and reroute the neck pocket now. If your method wasn't perfect how can I achieve an absolutely centered neck? Doesn't matter how much work it is. I'm a perfectionist and I'm trying to achieve less than tenth of a millimeter deviation from body to the end of the headstock. I want it perfectly centered How should I do it? Your accent sounds German. Grettings from Braunschweig by the way.
is that a howell guitars roasted neck off reverb?
what pickups are you sticking in this one?
The neck is from guitaranatomy.com from the uk. The pickups will be Fralin p90 + Fralin split steel poled tele. I will get into that in the next video 😃👍🏼. Thanks for watching 🙏
Great video again, but... way too short!
Hey, thanks ... Great comment 👍🏼 I’ll keep that in mind for the next one 😉👍🏼
