Have you ever tried trapping the backs on any of your bows yet? I just made a hickory bow and did a pretty aggressive trap on the back. I had a similar questionable spot near the edge of the limb and eliminated it by trapping.

The back of the bow is narrower than the belly when trapping? Personally I rather not. The glue and sawdust worked great to prevent any problems.

@hunterarcher11 it's also a performance enhancer. it lightens the limb up quite a bit without reducing draw weight. im not sure how it would work on a fire hardened bow. I read about it in one of the traditional bowyers bibles.

Georgia for the longest time was 45 lb minimum not sure what the minimum weight is now. My first deer harvested was with a bear 45 lb recurve and I’ve been hooked ever since on bow hunting. I took the Journey down the lane of compound and harvested several deer. I just got burned out with the compound because of all the garbage you have to have 😂 got tired of loosing my release. Nothing beats just grabbing a stick bow with wood arrows maybe three arrows top sitting in a blind waiting on that perfect shot that’s hard to get so most deer walk without knowing you where even there 😂
