This is the best box I have seen yet! From the shape to the embellishments and the construction itself. I can't wait to make one or 10 LOL. thank you so much for your time and talent,
Great tutorial! I’ve made boxes with 1/8” chipboard that is very hard to cut, but yours is easier on the hands and still sturdy , thank you for your patience! Well done👍
I really liked this tutorial. It was a well designed box, also very sturdy, with clear, easy to follow directions. However, I was very disappointed that I did not get to see how you decorated the box, because that was one of the main reason I started watching this tutorial. Could you please make a video showing how you decorated the box you showed at the beginning of this tutorial?
+Magik Dust Hi. Sorry to upset you, but I did not film the process of embellishing the box because to me it seemed pretty obvious - cutting the papers slightly smaller than the sides of the box, attaching some brads to them before gluing down and then attaching the handle to the lid on top. I cannot make another video, especially not for the box that you saw at the beginning of this tutorial. Maybe some time in the future, I will embellish the empty box (which I still have) with some other papers. Thanks for you comment.
I love the box u made! Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. It was really easy to understand n quiet clear instructions. I am not good at this but thing this I want to try it out. 😊
Great video! Your box inspired me to make a decagon (10 sided box) of various sizes. Once you figure out the angles of the circle you can do as many sides as you want! Thank you!
Hi Mariela! Thanks for watching this tutorial. As you could have notices, this video is 8 years old. I don't think I can show how to cover the box with the designer paper, but what I did is I just measured each panel and cut my patterned paper 1/8" smaller on both sides (the short and the wide). For the lid you create a hexagon in the same way you made one for the lid and the base of the box, just again make it slightly smaller, so that you can have little borders all around. I hope this helps a bit :) Happy New Year!
I absolutely love this tutorial!! I can’t wait to start mine. The tutorial is so easy to follow. Great 👍 job!! It’s time for me to subscribe too your channel😊
