Had to realize this quick. Just hit 1 year into my lawn care business. And i fell in love with the start up lol. Thought i was a marketing genius and wanted to do roofing on the side. And pressure washing. Didn’t pan out well at all
Years ago you drew a graph of growth vs. profit. I regularly draw that for new biz owners I meet. Revolutionized my thinking about biz growth. Thanks Mike.
I’m afraid to leave my traveling superintendent job and just commit. I’ve bought equipment already and have LLC just need to commit!!! I’m tired of working away from my family!
I'm 15 yr ill be 16 this spring and then ill have my license and be able to drive. I've been working hard and saving money working tons of different jobs saving for my lawncare and landscape business I'm going to start this spring. This video was full of things that i found valuable and agreed with and things that i learned and realized. For the past half a year I've just been researching mower brands trucks everything. But i still don't know the best way to quote a job and estimate a price. I really have enjoyed these videos you have been making thanks. Also i don't think you have one but a video on how to price lawncare jobs would be awesome.
Mike I look up too you. You’re a great mentor and part of the reason I’m still fighting even though I’m tired of being in the field and being broke. I’m sticking to it and will keep working towards my dreams.
Next spring I will start my lawn care company at 15 or at that time I‘ll probably be 16. Currently I am building all the systems. My goal for my first year is 10 recurring mowing customers. Unfortunately in Germany you have to be 18 years old to drive on your own so at first I can only serve in a small radius but maybe I can hire someone 18+. Does anyone know if I should set up my a company right away, how I can register at the Finanzamt in Germany? What would you say should I set up digital billig right away or is it ok to collect cash?
mike, i own a golf cart dealership. I offer a great product and have a good closing rate, i just cant get people in the door. How do you get people to actually get in the store?
7.5 Years in and I was nodding my head the entire video. Excellent work Mike.

Go for online payments as soon as you can. Increases legitimacy, pricing power, and professionalism
