1965 Pontiac Lemans 🔥 🤗 🔥
'65 GTO is my favorite car of all time! 💯
The Lemans would make a nice GTO Tribute for the price and condition! 😎
I did not think about that but you are right, it would!
I like the falcon, but I would have to throw a hot lil 289 in it.
I can see that happening!
Beautiful night on the patio to see those wonderful Pontiacs.....
Thanks for viewing CDH!
My favorite was the square back VW, nice car for a great price 👍
it was a great price for sure Ken!
Yeah that 40 de soto !
It was nice!
A Ford Mustang is probably the easiest to maintain because the number made and parts availability. That Pontiac is right up my alley!
I love Mustangs! I want a 67 fastback so bad but I think they are priced out of my league!
@@Americanrodshop Never know with Our Father in Heaven Brother ❤️🔥
WOW!!! First off, that "AI" render is amazing! As for the real world, several really REALLY nice cars this episode. I am saving my pennies and in a couple years think I'll be ready to pull the trigger, I hope I can count on you to still be doing this work then!! I'll definitely need to feed you a finders fee!
Thanks for that nice comment! I hope i am still around! I love making these videos!
Favorite is the '62 Le Mans because of the technology: "1/2 a 389" slant 4 engine, rope drive driveshaft with the rear transaxle; just an example of GM when they took risks with something new. The VW Squareback is a nicely done custom, as are the '50 Ford and the '57 Pontiac - not just another '57 Chevy. The 'Vette is nice. De Soto is a great deal, and is in my home state of NC; can't believe the price. The '65 Le Mans looks tidy and has one of my favorite engines (326). If the mileage on the Mustang is for real I can't imagine the price is really that low, especially for a V8. Falcon looks good, but as a Corvair owner, I couldn't be seen in one! The '38 P. lymouth is something different and would be fun to finish.I've always liked COE's and this one is over-the-top. Great video!
Thanks Luis! I can always depend on you to give both great insight and great comments! I appreciate it broother!
1 hr. 40 min. This’ll be a piece of cake. I have time to cook dinner and be ready.
WE will be waiting on you!!! Bring the Popcorn!
Awesome concept car!
Great job Solon !!!
Thanks Mike!
1962 Ford Falcon the Bestest!
Love your videos!
1 and 10 were my favorites. You're right about the prices, they are much lower than the cost to restore these. Usually the case in more common cars.
Great insight PMR! Thanks for commenting, and I appreciate you being a viewer!
I like the Pontiac lamonts and the comet
Good picks Rose!
I loved The VW, and The Concept rocket car,
Thanks Brian! I appreciate you tuning in!
Another great video Solon 😊..love that little falcon 😊
It was sweet! And that interior can testify how well that car was kept!
The Pontiac Tempest had the right half of a 389 V8 due to gas shortages at the time. In California if you had an even number license plate you could only wait in line on even days to get your gas. At about 27 cents per gallon. You could drive all day for five bucks about half a tank.
Wow! Not a big fan of Volkswagen but that is a very cool station wagon!
That was my thoughts exactly!
The Mustang and the Falcon were both great 🏆🏆
I agrre brother!
The DeSoto or the Plymouth are my favorites. Had a 41 DeSoto 4dr sedan that was my grandfathers as my first car. Was very much like the one you showed. It was dark blue with a grey mohair interior all original. Sure was a great car.
Nice Gary! What a great car to own!
Great mix! The Falcon is nice, as is the Desoto. Keep’em rolling!
Thanks brother!
Falcon was awesome!
I liked that myself! Nice one!
The 64 Mustang and the 57 pontiac!! Both are very nice!!
I agree brother!
The V-Dub is pretty cool…probably fit in the back seat of the Desoto
LOL!
My favorite is the 1941 Desoto
Good pick!
That Mustang is a Great deal
I agree Dean!
My favorite is the 1964 1/2 mustang and I also like the 65 Pontiac Lemans and the Ford falcon.
Great picks as usual Fred!
"It came from the internet" would do exactly what I need! Get my kids and grandchildren to vacation in absolute classic style! Better be air ride because I can't do low riders😂
It would be nice to cruise around in that one!
I love the custom Ford cabover and even at $95K, I think it’s a steal! I’d like to see this one in person.
Me too! I would love to cruise around in that thing!
The Stang a keeper for that price!
38 Plymouth looks great
That T4 VW was in vw trends or dune buggies and hot VW back in the 2000s so it’s a magazine car.
NICE info! I think it is at an incredibly low asking price!
Good morning Solon.
Favs: 65 Pontiac and that Desoto. Solon go buy that Mustang!
I want to but I don't have the money! 😫
The Chieftan would look a lot better with t h e original crome bumpers
I agree with that! I love Chrome, although I would have to reshape it a little! Those bumpers on that car are huge!
The concept car looks like a Cadillac mated to a Jaguar,,not bad 😎 The 50 Ford custom with a Flathead I like..
I agree with both of those! Man, how sweet would it be to own that concept in real life!
That
falcon is more than worth it!
you now it wasn't that long ago when $13k would get you a decent 1st gen falcon with a small block and a 4sp or c4 auto and the average price of a clean 6 cyl tempest hardtops was $2 to 3k, now days it seems everybody thinks they should get barrett jackson money for craiglist quality cars. the only cars out of this video i would even want seen in my driveway are the type 4 and the 79 vette and maybe the falcon if i had a v8 and a front straight axle to throw under it, falcons make good looking gassers......
I love Falcon gassers! I agree on that! Great comments AB!
Nice looking little Ford #10. I noticed that #9 Pontiac has a Tempest badge on it ... Not Le Man's?
You are probably right Mary! I don't think that Facebook allows for a category for Tempest so the seller had to choose Lemans and didn;t change it in the ad and I read it without checking it! LOL!
That concept car should be made by general motors badged as a Pontiac.
I agree I would love to own a real one!
I'm crying because in 1972 I owned a ragtop 65 red Mustang and traded it for a 1972 Grand Totino Sport
Oh No! Hindsight is 50/50! LOL!
That ai car is very cool to bad it was never built but it did give me a idea to make one for real
Nice Albert!
Happy memorial day solon to u and yours I'm ready to ride
Hey Joseph! Same to you, my brother!
Looking very forward to Fun Night! I can't help but love all the Pontiacs you showed in this video, Fords even a little more. Question, do they make a steel or aluminum front and back for the Corvettes that suffer from the ripple effect? That's one serious flaw in these cars.
I don’t know a lot about Corvettes. It’s possible, but I think they’re mostly all fiberglass.
@@Americanrodshop The obvious flaws are in their noses and tails... probablya composite that warps over time.
@@Americanrodshop Late C3's and many C4's suffer.
@@Mr.Higginbotham Makes sense! Good comments!
That All original 79 Vette has an 80-82 front clip, lol. I like it tho.
Hi Solon I just wanted you to know that I received my Hot Weels from you. Thanks
THE 62 FALCON I THINK COST UNDER 2 THOUSANDS BRAND NEW IN 62 / THEY WERE THE WIFE'S CAR TO TAKE THE KIDS TO SCHOOL AND GO FOOD SHOPPING OR FOR A BLUE COLLAR WORKERS KID IN COLLAGE / HAD ONE , NO POWER
But,they can be built up pretty good.
very true a guy had a 390 /4 speed and other speed goodies with roll bar@@garybrinker4522
Thanks JJ! I had heard that about those!
I think many AI generated concepts are very cool and will be made. I started seeing them about 6 months ago and gave them "likes". I watch Barrett Jackson and I do expect to see some of them there.
I like the AI cars as well!
you could probably get the concept car built [less the rocket] for 250k
I agree! I would build one like that if money was no option! Sadly, me having money is no option! LOL! Thanks Richard for viewing!
The Merc ..was that flames..?? Looked like blue paint was accidentally dumped on the poor thing
LOL!
Plymouth or VW looked the best in my opinion 😅
65 lemans
Good pick!
The AI car is an awesome representation of someone's imagination
Yes it is! I would love to see that in real life!
That used to be normal. Why would anyone pay more than the cost of restoration? If you are going to pay more than the cost do it yourself ,to your own tastes and most importantly KNOW it's been done properly and what is underneath..
Good insight Smiddy! I appreciate you being a viewer!
Never EVER buy a "Completely restored" car unless it's been done by a reputable shop because you never know what they did and what kind of shortcuts they did to get to look like it's "flawless". One of the guys in my car club paid $28,000 for a 73 Mustang that was "fully restored" by a semi local shop and last spring and by the end of summer the 2 1/2 inches thick bondo along the drivers side had already started to crack and cost him another 15k in new panels and a paint job. 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% "fully restored" and "Freshely restored" really mean "restored on the cheap to sell".
Great info and advice, Mr. Real! I would add that you need to take it to a shop and get it checked out before purchasing it. Thank you, brother!
@@Americanrodshop Absolutely, or at least take someone with you that knows cars even it costs you a few bucks
Corvette ad is bullshit, take a look at the front clip, 80 to82 not original
Good Catch on that one! I appreciate knowledgeable viewers! Thanks for watching my friend!!
A. I. Ugly! .... The VW squareback is my choice ... will have to follow up on that. The falcon would probably have been second if it wasn't running the six cylinder engine.
Other than liking the VW bug, I'm not a real Volkswagen Fan, but wow! That Square back blew me away and at a great price!
@@Americanrodshophad a 70 squareback and absolutely loved that car. Had the 1800 ci pancake motor made by Porsche, dual Weber carbs. Loved leaving "race cars" at the light and they couldn't catch it till 3rd gear, lol. After that it was a dog.
AI car is cool
That Mustang for $11K wirh 6,400 miles has to be a scam!
Either it has 106,000 miles or something is fishy
It's probably worth 3 times thatbmuch!
You could be right Gojoe!
like the 57 didn't like the red crom
a 260 in the stang? its a 289
Good catch Dean!
* THAN
That 51 COE, from the Internet, would be my pick.
Sure it looks like a small penis, wanna be a trucker ride.
But everything is done to the endth degree. The perfect kid toater for a Mormon/Amish family daily driver.
But for real, that Red 57 Pontiac Chieftain would be my daily.
To do list would be, to add a 6.6, a Hurst turbo 400, and disks breakes to all 4 corners.
Maybe even a tastefull screaming chicken wrap on the hood?
Fried Chicken if there is one?
🤣😂🤣
LOL! Great comment Benny!
Give original surviver,,or give me death !
LOL!
The falcon is not a hard top dummy
Ok dummy. It's not a vinal top and it's not a convertible so what is it ? It's a hard top.
these are not classic cars
I thought the mustang was a steel if it’s what it is represented to be.The COE Ford is nice, fantastic workmanship but what would you use it for?The falcon was my favorite but why would you put an automatic transmission behind that underpowered six.I could go for it if it wasn’t for the transmission.
Great insight and some very thoughtful comments! Keep 'em coming!
