My buddies SxS pops like that. Sounded like an axle when I first heard it. He said its the diff because he doesn't have the locker on it yet.

I would agree with that but Polaris is true 4x4 but we do think it’s the front diff

That’s the front diff that was popping on that highlifter in the beginning of the video, mine did the same thing

We just pulled the diff and not a single thing is wrong with it. Do you have and other ideas?

@@ThatFowlerGuy It's definitely the front diff. Mine did it as well and I tried several things to stop what they call the "ratcheting" from the front diff. I finally got the stage 3 rock kit from HDextreme offroad and it doesn't do it anymore. What happens is when the suspension extends it puts pressure on the axles which binds the two piece hubs in the diff and causes the rollers in the sprague to slip which causes the popping noise. The stage 3 kit has a solid 1 piece hub so it can't bind and pop

I always wonder why people pull other rigs out on a winch line and don't just use the winch??? I'd rather stress the winch to get someone out instead of my drivetrain that costs wayyy more to repair. To me I wonder why even have a winch, just get some knetic rope or a tiger tail. I always winch out no matter the situation, I also am the only one with a side by side in my main riding group. So theres that factor also.
