Today I'm sharing with you how I almost missed out on an extremely good deal on a 2013 Honda Goldwing F6B. And the craziest part is the deal practically fell in my lap. Just bought my F6B found on Craigslist. 2013 base model, 1512 miles, has added everything from the deluxe except heated grips, tall vented screen, foglites, Cobra 6X6 exhaust.......$8000.

The older I get ( 36) the cooler the Goldwing gets. If I’m really honest with myself I am getting bored of V twins .

I would have bought that bike just to break even on the 10g or tried selling as a pair to a dealership just to recoup the money back, if it’s possible to even go that route but good buy Jon, bike is legit.

A few repairable scratches here and there with a full disclosure shouldn't matter.
It is a pity the market for such bikes is not that great in the USA.
The new ,even the 2017 retails for 40000 dollars in India.
The goldwing is a practical travel bike. It's a Honda.....they go forever. A family friend has one it's got 45k on it and it still looks brand new. Its the huge touring bike. I don't know how long they last but he wants to sell it but didn't say why. This was a few months ago. Not a big market for the goldwing in California.....everyone rides Harleys.
Yeah, the market seems to be slim on these bad boys. I think they're highly underrated. Can you imagine dudes ripping 12 oclock wheelies on goldwings like they do on the road glides!? Hahah! That would be wild!
If you weren't riding like a fool, you might have sold it for what you wanted. When you are dragging bottom doing circles or popping wheelies at every opportunity and putting it on the air, well dead give away. I wouldn't buy any of your bikes on the assumption it was abused.

So, you are just flipping bikes? Are you gonna keep a F6B? I have a broken tailbone and I had two F6Bs, the seat just didn't work for me. I got a full 16 Wing and that seat was great, but I miss the F6B's looks. I guess there are quite a few aftermarket saddles for them, but I thought the full Wing handled better with my wife onboard. There are still a ton of new F6Bs across the country. $8300 with 1600 miles is a no brainer!
I flip bikes on the side. Some I keep though. I would love to keep one someday, but it wouldn't be until I can actually go out for some good cross country rides. Until then, I'll keep my eyes out for good deals.

I hear ya there. It would be one thing to have scratches on the saddle bags or if the bike had been dropped at speed, but in this case it was like having scratches on the foot pegs. Lol.
I guess the color of the bike makes it cooler than most Goldwings I see on the road.

Well that an this model dosnt have the full Tour pack so maybe that's y it looks cooler

Hello Jon, I’m about to travel 10 hrs to pick a F6B but I don’t want to spend an arm and a leg for loading ramp for a day. What kind of ramp did you use to load your F6B when you bought it and had it in the back of your truck. Thanks.
dang, I could've sworn i replied to you already. My bad. The ramp is a big boy 10'x3'. Good luck with the purchase (assuming it didn't already take place).
Really good deal in my opinion
The F6B is a a totally flawed overweight scooter wirh half a car glued to the front. Besides front fork and head bearing design faults the F6b windscreen creates severe turbulence at 30 mph plus. The flat hard low seat is too wide you cant stand up. The bars have too much flex in them. I bought one 4 months ago with 16000 kms. Rodehome. Rode to repair. Thats it. How can Honda have made these useless bikes and have the audacity to sell them? Absolute flawed gutless garbage. Mines for sale after 2 totally reluctant inescapable journeys of 200 miles. Do not recommend this awful machine. After 50 years of riding.
