Felix Mitchell is not the most famous black gangster from a small American city called Oakland. But his relative obscurity in wide circles is more of an anomaly, because this drug dealer was an innovator in the business, and many of his inventions are still used by American gangsters today.
He kept Oakland in his power for almost 10 years, and after his death he was included in sociology and criminalistics textbooks, becoming the reason for the term “Mitchell's paradox”. And if you're wondering why he deserved it, then meet Felix “The Cat” Mitchell, on the other side of the law.

This Is A Lie. There was no extreme poverty in Oakland especially during his era from the 70’s to 80’s. Everyone either had a good factory job or had their own businesses. U obviously aint from Oakland,,meaning I grew up in West Oakland in the 70s 80s and 90s,,and black folks in Oakland back then was indeed facing extreme poverty and racism as usual......In fact,,there are countless live recorded speeches on youtube from THE BLACK PANTHERS,,where they are clearly speaking about the extreme poverty and racism that was taking place in Oakland,,in which was indeed the reason that Huey Newton and Bobby Seale created THE ICONIC LEGENDARY BLACK PANTHERS...Duh...Google it....Also,,the blacks that owned businesses back then were 2 and few like always,,meaning that the majority of the black folks in Oakland and across the country back then was suffering extreme poverty and racism,,like it has always been in every black city in this country from the day we got off those ships...In fact,,my grandparents migrated from the south to West Oakland California back in the 40s with 14 kids and no jobs,,and the majority of the other blacks that migrated to Oakland from the south back then were similar to my grandparents...That being said,,u got the audacity to say that my grandparents and the others that migrated to Oakland were wealthy,,when I know for a fact that my grandparents both worked low wage factory jobs in West Oakland for 20 plus years barely making it,,with 14 kids to care for...😳...Like I said,,the majority of the folks that migrated to Oakland from the south were similar to my grandparents,,meaning I saw this with my own 2 eyes growing up in West Oakland......Once again,,u obviously didn't grow up in Oakland,,meaning im 100 percent convinced that u just on here TROLLN...Ya dig

As a black woman who grew up in Berkeley in the 1970s, I'm here to tell you..A LOT OF THEM WERE. They weren't the perfect black saviors you think they were.
