Finding An Alternative to the Drop Shot

- In this video, I take you drop shot fishing on Lake Wallenpaupack in PA. As I was nearing the end of my fishing time, I needed a faster way to fish the area that was producing with the drop shot. So I started ripping a lipless crankbait and caught a nice smallmouth. Then I had to go. So the question is: Would I have caught more ripping that lipless if I was able to stay?

Drop Shot fishing is my favorite way to catch smallmouths, my bait of choice is the Hazedong shad. Your a Great angler, I'm sure you would have boat a few more with ripping the lipless crank bait technique. Thanks Den 👍

Good video, that lake is busy, reminds me of ours. Did you graph the SM? Or Use Forward scanner?
I don't have FFS but I did seem them on the graph. If you look closely you will see the last smallmouth I catch barfing up alewife.
How about Carolina rig
I know the C-rig works there but I was looking for a faster presentation method that would still catch fish.
Great video . We use the Zero line of baits often .
I will be using them a lot in the future!
