I really love the final play, it's amazing how it sounds with the chorus and delay from de "reflecting pool" pedal box. No one but fender it is able to make this sound perfectly crystal.
Yes, with the right strings. I’ve had the tele version since they came out. The trick is to find an acoustic set of strings with an unsound G string. I got mine primarily so I wouldn’t have to relearn all of my solos for the few acoustic shows we do. Works great!
Special guitars certainly. The demos from past middle were weak for sure. Not the players, but the sounds were relentlessly repetative. Very somber stuff. Do something in those genres, make it inspiring, not depressing. Ok, just my take.....
I have been looking for a very light and manageable guitar to set beside my office chair when the urge hits me to try a new lick. I got lucky and walked into a Guitar Center today and they had both the Acoustasonic Jazzmaster and Telecaster hanging on the wall. They were nice enough to let me give them both a try. The guitars have a really good feel and a great weight for grab and go plinking. I was about to have the salesperson set up an amp and then I ran my hand down the neck. Oh my gosh - not good. Maybe it is supposed to have a satin finish, but this felt more like a piece of wood that came right off the shaper without any sanding. It was rough in several places (not the full neck, just in large spots down the neck). One of the other employees felt it and said "maybe it's crusted up sweat from another customer." Not the best thought. After rubbing and polishing on the neck for a while, no - it was not crusted up sweat. That was a big deal breaker for me. So, I grabbed the telecaster version. The sides of the neck were much smoother than the Jazzmaster, but the skunk stripe was just as rough as the other one. Sure can't say these had necks built for speed. And because of these rough spots, you sure can't say they were comfortable. Needless to say, as a Fender person, I was very, very disappointed and I was very glad that I had not ordered one sight unseen. Maybe the ones they send out for reviews have finished necks on them but these two did not. It was as if they put a little stain on them pushed them out the door. Certainly not what I would expect for $2,000 guitars. I'm interested to know if anyone has seen one that has a smooth or true "satin" finish on the neck. Maybe these two were just COVID flukes.
Fender smashing it out of the park these days!! Solid marketing by getting these wonderful players to showcase these guitars, which btw sound GORGEOUS
The Acoustasonic Jazzmaster! It's like getting two guitars for the price of three!
Hot take. 🙄

Can u please answer: If the guitar cable is left plugged into the guitar, will it continue to draw down battery?
Wow! Nice Scott.
You NEED to get Eric Barnett to play his songs on that. His style would make that guitar scream

Did Fender just re-up this to get more views?
Gotta sell them guitars
They’ve got to start building hype for Summer NAMM next month.
What will the next Acoustasonic be?
A Precision Bass maybe?

The talent you choose to demo this line are all fantastic. I just can't get interested in solo's with this guitar. Sorry! Not for me!
