Kyle Higginbotham- Penmen Pursuits Winner 2024

While serving as an active-duty sailor in Hawaii, Kyle Higginbotham was involved in a motorcycle incident that left him with significant injuries and forced him to medically retire from the Navy. Despite his medial challenges, Kyle maintained a positive attitude and enrolled at SNHU to pursue his education. He has leveraged the support and community at SNHU, embraced opportunities for learning and personal growth, kept a rigorous physical therapy schedule and found creative physical outlets such as archery and other sports with the Navy Wounded Warrior team, even competing in dance once again. He has maintained a 4.0 GPA at SNHU, serving as a reminder of the importance of perseverance in the face of adversity.
