epic, i think you should do more replays of a normal speed a-twist or another trick, if i see only slowmotions its harder to imagine to do it while watching your tutorial
I can do a webster with a 180 off of my right foot kicking my left foot back, but going off of my left foot and kicking my right foot back is just awkward...any ideas?
hey epic i have a question, im trying to learn gainer s/t gainer i have the gainer perfect known it for years now but i feel as if my placement isn't right for when i go to st and gainer out of it. any tips on how i should go about getting it set right to s/t out into another gainer.
I really appreciate your tutorials a lot! they have helped me since I started tricking/freerunning. I know you have a B-Twist tutorial already, but are there any new concepts to help someone learn to do it cleaner? I am really eager to learn so if you have anything to help I would love to hear it!
@epic1 Hey epic I really enjoy all of your videos but no matter what I do I can't seem to get the "lift and push" down. I know how destructive the punch is for your legs but I don't know what else to do.
Hey I'm have my Btwist and I have a question. If I try a Btwist but with the Atwist punch (arm straight over and down), what would be the result? Like a move halfway between an Atwist and a Btwist?
EPIC! Please please please help! Are there any progressions to doing the aerial twist? Like the b twist and kick. because Being able to do an aeril off of something doesn't help me! Any advise?
HELP ME!! :( A little over a year ago, i was able to do SUPER nice atwists but now it's looking more like a btwist.. I try keeping my body vertical but it's still kinda looking like a btwist. Tips on cleaning it up?
in the aerial twist on ground it doenst look that your going in to aerial and then twist. do i need to master the aerial? or it doesnt realated to aerial? thanks ahead :)
Hey could you do a pimp flip tutorial? Its kind of a rare move and I don't think there are any tutorials of it here on UA-cam. If you could take this into consideration that'd be fantastic. Thanks :D
Matthew Forde A twist is a freerunnng and tricking move and a corkscrew counts as a twist and you see people doing it in when doing Parkour and some tricking
Awesome bro!!! One of my favorite tricks that i learned and it ended up being really easy :P. I love your vids so keep them coming P.S, you could pull your back leg up higher and harder to land it higher and softer or for a potential double :) keep it up tho
Epic, Errr how do I do an ATwist if my regular aerial is already 180.... Like when I saw your aerial tutorial, mines more like a gymnastic aerial even though I took martial arts O_O? So how would I do it? Still add a 180? I tried it and I landed facing forward so I guess I did it?
Hey Kyle! You are Awesome! I seriously look up to you bro! I have learned how to do a front flip, backflip, sideflip, and arabian from all your tutorials! You dont use Profane language which is flippin (pun intended) awesome! Thanks for all you do! I will continue learning from your tutorials! your biggest fan, Chris P.S. Keep doing what you're doing!
Hi, I've been practicing an A-Twist but, I've noticed that I always rotate to the other side. I mean: I jump off of my right leg, meaning that I should rotate to my right, but I go all the way to the left... What is this thing I am doing called then?
Kyle can you tell me the name of the music at the end of the video? I dont trick anymore, but i used to trick 8 years ago when you were making these tutorials. And i remember always watching them. Now this video brings me good memories.
That ending song was just my own self-composed outro song from back in the day. That's incredible to hear, I'm super grateful for your comment! I hope life is serving your wonderfully.
Caleb Earl it's confusing because it's a flip and twist in one. Your body is spiraling in the air (full twist) but you are flipping as well. So it's kinda both. The flip set up is a half twist with a full in the middle. If that makes sense
@SuperHumanz101 any time you leave the ground you take a risk in hurting something. if you're smart about it and build yourself into the trick the risk of it would be less. make sure you actually have experience with tricking or how to control your body properly instead of just winging it. if you just throw the trick the chances of getting hurt are a lot more
I never really have been very good at any moves that use twists but I could always do front flips off of picnic tables with an added half twist after learning them on my old trampoline from many years ago,but never on flat ground as twists are a very difficult thing for me to do. I can almost b-kick in my sleep, but the b-twist is something that never made any sense to me at all. Still, that's a sweet looking move in this video!
For some reason it bothers me that you rotate 360 (chest faces ground - rotates to face sky - then lands back at ground) but it's only considered a 180 spin.
dear kyle,tq very2 much for doing all tricking tutorial.now I can catogeries my self as pro.just because I watched all your tutorial.tq very2 much.i aprreciate this
While aerial twist isn’t as easy to swingthru (well tbh I haven’t seen anyone swingthru on an A-Twist) it looks so much neater than B-Twist just cause of the inversion it creates when you execute this
well im not epic but i tried this my first time without even watching a video and landed on my knees. but your instincts should put your arms out too stop you from landing on your head if your that close to doing so. but if you follow epic's instructions you should be just fine. if you haven't already done so, just try it see what happens. get rid of your nerve and make sure your following epic properly before trying. also you could try it in a gym first.
Epic!!!! I have something fun and awesome that you should do!!!!!! I think you should Dress up as a Ninja Turtle and do some parkour or some stuff in your gym!! Would be the best thing I've ever seen!!!!!!
Both the Aerial, and this, have a half-twist. The only difference is that in an aerial, you land with the opposite foot from the one you took off with. In this it seems like you land on the same foot.
An A-twist is a webster/aerial with a half twist the same way as the leg you're jumping off. A "gymnastics aerial" is a webster with a half twist the opposite way of your jumping leg. A "tricking aerial" is like a sideways cartwheel with no hands.
i realized that i kept doing btwist because i punch from my stomach to my armpit instead of from my head to my armpit. maybe this will help thanks kyle!
epic, i think you should do more replays of a normal speed a-twist or another trick, if i see only slowmotions its harder to imagine to do it while watching your tutorial
It helps you understand the take off as far as feet motion goes
I can do a webster with a 180 off of my right foot kicking my left foot back, but going off of my left foot and kicking my right foot back is just awkward...any ideas?

YES! I DID IT FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! YEESS! THANK YOU SO MUCH EPIC!
yes it's similar to a front half or a BARANI
Love the slow mos man! really helps to get the motion into my head.
I do my websters off of my right foot but I do my atwists off of my left foot. Do I need to relearn my websters on the other foot?
I really appreciate your tutorials a lot! they have helped me since I started tricking/freerunning. I know you have a B-Twist tutorial already, but are there any new concepts to help someone learn to do it cleaner? I am really eager to learn so if you have anything to help I would love to hear it!
Best A-Twist tutorial which I've ever seen! Thanks a lot for it! :)
loving your tutorials they are great, thanx!! stay safe
@epic1 Hey epic I really enjoy all of your videos but no matter what I do I can't seem to get the "lift and push" down. I know how destructive the punch is for your legs but I don't know what else to do.
hey epic, what is the benefits and negatives of only learning tricking outside and not in the gym?
Hey I'm have my Btwist and I have a question. If I try a Btwist but with the Atwist punch (arm straight over and down), what would be the result? Like a move halfway between an Atwist and a Btwist?
whats the song you use during the slow mo? love it and great vid, almost got the a twist
do u reccomend trying this if i sprained my right ankle a year ago? its recovered, but can i put it into great risk trying it?
Is the A-twist only 180 degrees of rotation?
i have a question, he says watever foot is in front is the way ur turning but every time his left foot is in front he turns towards the right
i just got this move today off an object! :D .....your tutorials are really helpful!
EPIC! Please please please help! Are there any progressions to doing the aerial twist? Like the b twist and kick. because Being able to do an aeril off of something doesn't help me! Any advise?
HELP ME!! :(
A little over a year ago, i was able to do SUPER nice atwists but now it's looking more like a btwist.. I try keeping my body vertical but it's still kinda looking like a btwist. Tips on cleaning it up?
It is possible, however it's a totally different motion to execute.
where can I get these blocks you use all the time??
in the aerial twist on ground it doenst look that your going in to aerial and then twist. do i need to master the aerial? or it doesnt realated to aerial? thanks ahead :)
Hey could you do a pimp flip tutorial? Its kind of a rare move and I don't think there are any tutorials of it here on UA-cam. If you could take this into consideration that'd be fantastic. Thanks :D
hi im new to parkour so what should i learn first
I haven't seen any a twists in any parkour videos except this one
Matthew Forde A twist is a freerunnng and tricking move and a corkscrew counts as a twist and you see people doing it in when doing Parkour and some tricking
Awesome bro!!! One of my favorite tricks that i learned and it ended up being really easy :P. I love your vids so keep them coming
P.S, you could pull your back leg up higher and harder to land it higher and softer or for a potential double :) keep it up tho
is doing this after a cartwheel considered a cartfull?
Epic, Errr how do I do an ATwist if my regular aerial is already 180....

So how would I do it? Still add a 180? I tried it and I landed facing forward so I guess I did it?
How long does it take to learn this if you can do aerial?
Hey Kyle! You are Awesome! I seriously look up to you bro! I have learned how to do a front flip, backflip, sideflip, and arabian from all your tutorials! You dont use Profane language which is flippin (pun intended) awesome! Thanks for all you do! I will continue learning from your tutorials!

That's called an envergado.
Or a raiz twist
***** how do u twist I. The air
Oh thanks
***** what's the difference between a twist and cart full?
@graffsk8er
you have any idea what those gyms are called?
Kyle can you tell me the name of the music at the end of the video? I dont trick anymore, but i used to trick 8 years ago when you were making these tutorials. And i remember always watching them. Now this video brings me good memories.

what kind of mat are you using?
@Epic1 dude, i love your old hair. It looks like my uncle's hair
Is the a full twist or half twist? im always so confused when it comes to this move. When people try to tech me it they its only a have twist
Caleb Earl it's confusing because it's a flip and twist in one. Your body is spiraling in the air (full twist) but you are flipping as well. So it's kinda both. The flip set up is a half twist with a full in the middle. If that makes sense
epic I am really scared I'm going to fall on head. any advice or can you make more detailed video. Sorry if I'm giving you extra job.
i love ur tutorials ......

is it possible to train this move on trampoline?
Sure why not?
you sir, are a great teacher
@caGh0s7 Best rule is twisting when you are head down, seems to work best overall
Hi, what is the link for the "Lift and push" tutorial video? Thanks.
ua-cam.com/video/lZ39FVRD7o8/v-deo.htmlsi=mQioJmsA8NKKJ2vm
I should probably remake a new tutorial to demonstrate the concept in a more modern way.
@@MoveWIthMendoza can't wait to see your new tutorial on the concept! Thanks in advance!
Where are you from?
@cocoisboss same I was waiting for epic to show this,I can't work well with the other users :)
Any tips for double a-twists
Jump higher spin faster
Try to do the twist as early as possible and Then when you fall add half Twists and that's how it works. If you don't have it down already.
If you play an a-twist in reverse it looks sort of like a sideswipe.
Is it still called atwist if if i land it on my left hand to go into a combo?
God nah it’s called a touchdown a twist
I never really have been very good at any moves that use twists but I could always do front flips off of picnic tables with an added half twist after learning them on my old trampoline from many years ago,but never on flat ground as twists are a very difficult thing for me to do. Sm here
This video helped a lot from the tip; try punching down to get the air momentum. Thank you very much
awesome facility. where is this gym at ? address ?
thanks for the tutorial. very helpful stuff ;)
Awesome Epic
For some reason it bothers me that you rotate 360 (chest faces ground - rotates to face sky - then lands back at ground) but it's only considered a 180 spin.
EPIC i got a tutorial idea. Lache technique (i want more distance and control)! Thanks bro
dear kyle,tq very2 much for doing all tricking tutorial.now I can catogeries my self as pro.just because I watched all your tutorial.tq very2 much.i aprreciate this
Who Would Dislike this.
loved the tutorial by the way
thanks @SteveOTheMan16 ill be sure to do that :)
U won a subscriber
While aerial twist isn’t as easy to swingthru (well tbh I haven’t seen anyone swingthru on an A-Twist) it looks so much neater than B-Twist just cause of the inversion it creates when you execute this
I jump with left leg but twist to the right is that a problem
Twilightmist Kappa try spinning to the left I used to spin to the right and I'm left footed and then I went to the left and it was so much easier
Jackson Cusack Thanks I will try
Jackson Cusack yo i know this is old but i watch your videos lol
well im not epic but i tried this my first time without even watching a video and landed on my knees. but your instincts should put your arms out too stop you from landing on your head if your that close to doing so. but if you follow epic's instructions you should be just fine. if you haven't already done so, just try it see what happens. get rid of your nerve and make sure your following epic properly before trying. also you could try it in a gym first.
@tarealol Agreed, the newest ones are anyway.
It looks fine and i think, youre a good teacher.
Good Tutorial mate
@nellyfurtado0jessica noup! not at all... i think they're just regular gyms..!
If you can b twist and arial it's basically the same way you do the b twist but you throw your head down.
btwist 720 into splits
Good tutorial bro.....haha I was about to post the same one hahaha..but urs is pretty simple so I won't post one lol...Good Job!bro
Epic!!!! I have something fun and awesome that you should do!!!!!! I think you should Dress up as a Ninja Turtle and do some parkour or some stuff in your gym!! Would be the best thing I've ever seen!!!!!!
Aerial 360?

@graffsk8er man , i had only sand and i am happy :D
Thanks for this one
Nice hyperswipe tutorial!
Great video man
@graffsk8er that was exactly the same thing i tought like a month before,
dude just SEARCH.
there is always a chance to learn those things
thank you this helped me alot i realize now its the way im throwing my arm
right, you do a 360 spin in a twist
Simply just "EPIC" =D
So it's an aerial with a leg switch......?
Both the Aerial, and this, have a half-twist. The only difference is that in an aerial, you land with the opposite foot from the one you took off with. In this it seems like you land on the same foot.
Think of it as an Aerial with a Half-Twist in the opposite direction.
An A-twist is a webster/aerial with a half twist the same way as the leg you're jumping off. A "gymnastics aerial" is a webster with a half twist the opposite way of your jumping leg. A "tricking aerial" is like a sideways cartwheel with no hands.
Epic.. what if i only can spin the left side and take of with the left leg.. :/ this is sooo shit
@obaid16195 definetly the webster
Then just do it with your right foot kicking your left foot back. Try shifting around your body's positioning. Its all what is comfortable for you.
It is like B-Twist but in vertical
I'd recommend a webster half.
awesome a-twist but u barely kick ur back leg up:O the rest is just perfect:).
@graffsk8er yea -.- same to me.
Okay I will! :D Thanks!
SICK
A twists make no frickin sense
DunkinDonutBoi just think of it like a Webster 180 flip or like a gather step front flip 180
Bro, I love you
a friend of mine did this I thought it was a b-twist at first till you made this video lol nice tut
i can't get my body horizontal enough
Brandon Jenkin I cant tell if this is a joke, but an a twist u go over ur head mostly not horizontal
@blacklove7777 wtf??
i realized that i kept doing btwist because i punch from my stomach to my armpit instead of from my head to my armpit. maybe this will help thanks kyle!
progresed in to a double for 3 training .....
