I simply cannot believe you left out the vampire kids scratching at the window from Salem's Lot. No 1 on mine! ;)

The worst part for me was that they used church music in Children of the Corn. I went to Lutheran schools and was exposed to church music 6 days a week! I was having flashbacks every time I heard it, so it took a long long time to get over as a kid. 😳

As always, gentlemen, the reviews are wonderful, but the comedy sketches are on a whole different level. 10/10 fricheks

THE STAND has so many scary moments. Another one that always stood out to me was when Stu (Gary Senise) is the last living survivor from his community in that lab room and the deranged sick doctor comes in ready to kill him. Horrifying!

I saw Salem's Lot when I was pretty young and that movie was terrifying. The scariest part was when the dude was in the hospital and the dead lady was becoming a vampire and he was making a cross with those things doctors stick in your mouth.

For me it was the scene where Danny's standing over Wendy with a knife in his hand, chanting "Redrum." Sounds like that should never come out of anyone, let alone a little kid. The first time I watched I was in a dark room with headphones on, and I dropped my laptop in the rush to turn on the light.

  • @eltenda

    Excellent top ten!

  • @laramiekreeper

Nope... for me it was Mr. Reggie Nalder who played Mr. Barlow in Salems Lot. He was THE ONE !! I watched it on TV the First time it was on and It was TERRIFYING!!! I got to say that I am old enough to have seen this movie the FIRST TIME ON TV....The time in the kitchen .....I literally almost peed my pants!!! CBS Friday night horror damn near killed me as a kid... Dark night of the scarecrow!!! I so wish my dear Mom was still around . We'd be watching the SHIT!!!!!!

I find bedroom scene in The Shining creepy as well, but its because of what we didn't see. Most times when Jack talks to the hotel ghosts, a mirror is present in the scene. Kubrick makes sure we see the dresser mirror in that bedroom scene. That, and with how Jack is just sitting up when Danny enters the room always suggested to me that Jack was talking to a ghost and Danny interrupted it. Jacks words become even more haunting when you start to think someone else was just there telling Jack to harm Danny.

    "Months. MONTHS."

I love the dark drive in the snow storm, I don't think I ever saw it quite that way, but going forward I'll always think about how ominous that is! Great video guys!

"Zelda" is the scariest SK movie scene to me. Nightmare nuclear fuel that one. Fuck them for making her the same name as my favorite games. And Zelda Fitzgerald, the bastards!

  • @ryanfreeborn4252

The scene in IT where Stan gets locked in the house. When Pennywise starts slowly plunking down the stairs.

  • @Little_Man152

Same here with the dead body on Stand By Me. I was traumatized by that scene when I first saw it. Great video guys I really enjoy you reviews of the old forgotten horror movies. I like the top 10 format👍

  • @welshrabbit5494

“Scared the hell out of me”. A Simpsons reference I use on the daily hahaha! Loved the video!

  • @ryancoulter4797

Stand By Me. When Wil Wheaton checks his shorts and his hand comes out bloody.
