Last month I looked up the word Word in John 1:1 ,14 in Thayers Greek Lexicon. It gives the definition for Word as.....the personal (hypostatic) wisdom and power in union with God. Praise God!!
I, too, have been brooding over Rev 5 for quite a while. What a moment when the worthy Lamb comes on the scene!!!

Thank you precious brother for sharing this Word. A couple of years ago I was reading through the Gospel of John and there was a reference footnote to Proverbs chapter eight and I thought hmmm what could possibly be in Proverbs chapter eight that concerns the Godhead.? When I opened up my Bible to Proverbs chapter eight I noticed the verses from 22-31that I had already underlined and I remembered that years ago I had read those verses and had thought how very peculiar they were.
I believe those verses are the very preincarnate Christ describing His existence with the Father before creation, during creation and after creation.

Another verse that I came across a couple of years ago is John 16:13. Jesus said "for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak:
Some translations say "for He shall not speak from His own authority...
So in my unqualified mind I understand that The Holy Spirit, a Divine Being, will not speak of Himself but what He hears that's what He will speak.
In John 15:26 Jesus said that the Holy Spirit proceeded from the Father .
So God issued forth Himself into another Spirit in which form, He , as The Holy Spirit would search the deep things of God. If the Divine Holy Spirit will not speak of Himself then He is going to speak of Someone else. Which in my understanding is the Father , The one out of Whom He came.
And what He hears that is what He will speak. So The Holy Spirit hears from Someone. Who could The Holy Spirit possibly hear from? The same One Who He will speak of. The Father.
In John chapter eight Jesus said of Himself that He proceeded and came forth from The Father. So I might be wrong but it appears to me that God The Father issued Himself forth into 2 other forms , being the Son and the Holy Spirit.
