- Popstar Ed Sheeran has raised issues about crime in London after he was questioned about it on comedian Theo Von’s podcast.
“I’d say every area of London … is sketchy,” Mr Sheeran told Mr Von.
“The nice areas are sketchy; the bad areas are sketchy.”
Londoners have continued to talk about the rise in crime in the city, with petty crimes going unreported as there is a view police are unable to do anything about it.

Im a londoner born and bred and still live here because of work and elderly dad and the place is dodgy thanks to unfettered immigration, sure , its always had a criminal element, but not to the standard it has nowadays

I'm not a fan of Ed Sheeran's music but he's 100% correct about all London boroughs being sketchy. All London borough's are HIGH CRIME areas with more crimes reported daily than the police can deal with. Crime figures have risen continuously on Sadiq Khan's watch. Knife crime, and the subsequent loss of life, has all happened on his watch and he should have resigned years ago. How any person can go into work day after day believing they are doing a good job knowing there are so many unnecessary deaths occurring on their watch beats me.
I am from Brazil and my neighbor was robbed there. It hurts to see that instead Brazil gets better, London seems to become third world😢
@jclgts10 So what? Don't you remember a Brazilian female tourist was shot in my city New York and had to be flown back to Brazil? Nowhere is safe now.
@@Vyborne I avoid it all by not staying in a city with over a million people. Sure, I might have to fly into one as it's the best deal with the airlines. But I immediately high-tale it out of said shithole.

Crime is not the the real issue. The English culture has been diluted out of London. And if you keep allowing mass amounts of other cultures in that will also happen in all of England.

Spend no longer than a day in London. See the sites and then head off to Cambridge, York etc
I know you want to see the sights in London, but for real - head to the North. See Manchester, Liverpool, then make your way east. Check out Leeds and end up in Newcastle (although good luck understanding them). Seriously, that is the REAL England. Best people and you will not be disappointed or need to keep your head on a swivel constantly.
