i’m deciding between this or octanes heirloom. octane main but i often play other players depending on my teammates, i like the versatility of the katar but also i don’t like how its versatile because it takes away from the experience of an heirloom. is the base katar still a good heirloom to get?

Base katar is simple which imo is really nice. I think k you should get the katar that way you’ll always have an heirloom. The katar is my second fav heirloom due to it being universal.
@@Destilian i decided on the katar, honestly so glad i did. i’m not locked down to a single character now, the katar is really cool with heirloom spam and pull out animations, which is the majority you’ll be doing, plus you can upgrade it later down the road if you really want
Does the base katar have all of the same animations and inspects? I've been thinking about getting it with my shards but I don't wanna get jipped from having the full experience of the heirloom.

I just got double heirlooms on a 100 pack i got wraith and this katar. You can only get this katar by paying 150 heirloom shards right? Im confused if u can buy it with exotic sharsa but i think only the skins of it

@@bogdii1337 i know lol but tbh i spent close to 300€ on that account and been playing for 2 years almost lvl 170ish. My lvl 500 main got falsely permabanned 3 years ago where. I had wraith kunai for a couple weeks so it was about time haha but yeah thanks. Im pretty sure the first one was luck and the other one was my 500th pity one. I wanted to buy last time a 100pack cause i saw it was only 60€ ^^ but appreciate it. Im a day1 player since 2019 and playing without heirloom sucked ass past years

you could have got any different katar set for 50 shards btw, didnt have to buy out base set first lol
You need to buy base set in order to have access to all katar set. If you don't have 150 heirloom set then you can't have any kind of katar. First you need base set then you can upgrade it using 50 exotic.

katar 100%, base looks good, and it’s universal, and since next seasons bp is free, u can collection 20 exotics per season without spending money
