Geneva is like two different cities at different times of the year. When the politicians are there, it has one vibe, and when they leave it has another Vibe! The old town used to have some good nighttime flare! Thanks Paul!!
I just spent some time in Geneva, and checked off all of your recommendations! Thanks for a great guide, it was magic to see you and Paul in a video together 😊
Lived there my whole life and I have to say, this documentary is really well made and your "guide" bring you to the good place to see. Very well put guide.
It is such a joy to see Paul and Alex in one video. Even more so since Paul is showing his home town killing Alex with Cheese and Chocolate 😂. Maybe the two of you should really make more videos together.
Thanks Paul - and thanks for joining an Attaché- it was a great one. I need to try those almonds. I can also recommend the almonds from Planelles Donat in Barcelona - covered in three types of chocolate- delicious!!
Thank you Paul! Have always been interested in visiting Geneva and that perk of free public transpo is huge for tourists! And Alex...another great video!
Exceptional as always! Great to have Paul on an episode too. One day I’ll get to Switzerland - this video just pushed it to a slightly higher priority 😅
Alex, are you connected to my brain??? for the videos since Vienna in the before times, you've showcased a city I was abou to visit, or firming up as my next trip -- love the content and so glad you, and your channel exist.
Great slick video again, been watching and enjoying your content for ages. But now it is time for you to do Melbourne and Sydney we are waiting for you brother.
Geneva is the most expensive city for tourists. 😂🤣 I am always intrigued by the Swiss people, their culture, and mostly the Swiss chocolate. It seems like a different world, to be honest.
Just a point of precision. Although "filet de perche" used to be locally sourced from Lake Geneva, it is now mostly acquired from Eastern Europe. Only the top restaurants will serve local perch.
Great episode and nice to get Paul's tips too! What are the best ski resorts accessible from Geneva? It strikes me as the kind of place i'd like to fly into, explore for a day or two and then shoot off to the slopes...
I'm far from an expert on such matters but i can definitely recommend flying into geneva and then taking a transfer to chamonix(1.5hrs) or maybe in Valais in Crans Montana a bit farther out. Depends on how much time you have really!
I’m only 3 minutes in but I’ve been to Geneva twice. We arrived at our hotel late at night and I asked the woman at the desk where I should park and she told me wherever I want because the cops don’t work until 6-7am. The free public transit tickets were pretty cool but I’ve never felt more broke in my life, I guess it didn’t help it was during the auto show in March.
if you're there on a warm day must visit one of the beaches along the lake. regarding food, some of the middle eastern food you will find in the city from all the immigrants is among the best you will find anywhere. definitely give it a try.
Yeah it takes 5mn by train from the airport to the city centre, but it's a 15mn walk from arrivals to the train platform. Might as well just take a cab or one of the busses.
First, thanks Paul! Second, since upon arrival in Geneva I would not yet have checked in to my hotel and received my Geneva public transport card, could I show my reservation (printed or electronic) to ride the train to the center of town without having my physical transport card that Paul got for me.
Great video! What is the name of the restaurant at around 10 minutes into the video where you eat the "baloney"? The one just before you go to Restaurant De la Plage.
Could you guys show around the town during night? I'm sure it's more beautiful when lit up. Btw.. the host (paul?) was hilarious and made the show more vibrant. 🍻
Please dear Alex Hunter, Please do me a favor 👏👏 make ya next vid or anyone of ya video any time soon in Warsaw... I'd be very grateful man🤝🤝❤ I want my fiancee to study at Medical University of Warsaw so I like glance on the environment and want to watch it from ya.
Great episode! Informative and beautifully made. I’m curious about the bag that Paul wears in the first few minutes of the episode, could he say which brand it came from. Thank you.
What Paul was saying about The left Bank and the Right Bank ius a bit messed up. The Right Bank (Rive Droite) is where many of the immigrants and that's where you'd find the more ethnic enclaves which have better food and music. Think African, Turkish, latin american, etc... The Left Bank (Rive Gauche) is where all the rich people live, and they look down on the immigrants.
Geneva is complicated. It is the least Swiss Canton/City in Switzerland there can be. And I say that not because of the diversity but because of how it’s drowned in mostly foreigners who try so hard to be as arrogant and snobbish as they perceive what it means to be ‘Swiss.’ For about 6 months a year, Geneva is not Geneva but a cesspool of many classless foreign elites and wannabe elites. I love diversity, but I also know to respect the way of life and be humble when I myself am an alien in another’s land. But then again, I have no complaints about the city itself- when the arrogant snobs leave it genuinely is a cosy and cute place to fly into for the weekend or drive- if you happen to be within the Schengen zone- but be sure to spend at most a day then find a way to escape to Bern or Valais before experience and run-ins ruins the city for you! That is- ofc- if you don’t already fall in the category of snobby tourists!
We purposefully *don't* do this because exchange and inflation rates fluctuate so wildly. The purpose of the rundown is to give you fixed local costs so you can check it against your own currency in near real-time. If I gave currency conversions in the videos they would a) almost immediately be out of date and inaccurate and b) not cover all the currencies of our audience who would then still need to convert to their own currency. There's a method to our madness, I promise!
I think it goes. I know where Satan dwells and where he lies on his throne. I forget the exact quote and the name before it was changed to Geneva, Switerland. I know.... do you?

That's a fascinating insight!
When is when?
Excellent film once again. You were very brave to go to Switzerland on behalf of all of us.
Haha thanks!
I just spent some time in Geneva, and checked off all of your recommendations! Thanks for a great guide, it was magic to see you and Paul in a video together 😊

Thank you, Paul.
I love that everyone did this!
Lived there my whole life and I have to say, this documentary is really well made and your "guide" bring you to the good place to see. Very well put guide.
It's so peaceful watching your videos. You voice, your slow-motion scenes. Perfect!
It is such a joy to see Paul and Alex in one video. Even more so since Paul is showing his home town killing Alex with Cheese and Chocolate 😂. Maybe the two of you should really make more videos together.
It was a true pleasure having Paul along for the ride. We learned so much!
I love this channel - I love this video. More people should know about you guys because you are brilliant. Thank you for the content
That's very kind, thank you!
Thanks Paul - and thanks for joining an Attaché- it was a great one. I need to try those almonds. I can also recommend the almonds from Planelles Donat in Barcelona - covered in three types of chocolate- delicious!!

Your videos always provide such a great level of insight into each destination. You should definitely do an episode in San Sebastian in the future.
Had a chance to visit this amazing city a couple years back. Btw, thank you Paul!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank You Paul! 😁 Greetings from Costa Rica ❤
Thank you Paul!!!
What would we do without Paul?
Exceptional as always! Great to have Paul on an episode too. One day I’ll get to Switzerland - this video just pushed it to a slightly higher priority 😅

Ha! Well we definitely aim to please!
Fantastic, as always. Added Geneva to my list… when I can afford it
It's definitely worth a visit!
Hi 👋 Thanks Paul! 😊✌️

happy the episodes are on their way back to normal programming!
In terms of structure?
Thanks paul !!!
😂
I've been fortunate to live in Geneva for 25 years now
The chances of me leaving this wonderful city are zero
I hope we did your city justice!
Awesome episode! Thanks, Paul. Def going to use this free public transport card when I get there, eventually.
Great slick video again, been watching and enjoying your content for ages. But now it is time for you to do Melbourne and Sydney we are waiting for you brother.
you guuys one of the best!
you sold me Geneva & Valencia :D
Paul! The man! The voice! The Leica!
In the flesh!
Geneva is the most expensive city for tourists. 😂🤣
I am always intrigued by the Swiss people, their culture, and mostly the Swiss chocolate. It seems like a different world, to be honest.
Yeah it's definitely expensive but well worth it.
which city of swiss is best for Job ?
Just a point of precision. Although "filet de perche" used to be locally sourced from Lake Geneva, it is now mostly acquired from Eastern Europe. Only the top restaurants will serve local perch.
Yeah this is true. We picked a specifically picked a place that served perch from the lake.
I left geneva in 2014 i rarely bought a ticket for the tram or train " just dont get caught"😂 ill never forget that city
What a city this is! Especially the Left Bank with better people 🤣🤣🤣😂
Hahaha yeah that was always going to get a reaction
Great episode and nice to get Paul's tips too!
What are the best ski resorts accessible from Geneva? It strikes me as the kind of place i'd like to fly into, explore for a day or two and then shoot off to the slopes...
That's generally what people seem to do unless they're here for work etc. I'll yield to the experts on the ski resorts, though!
I'm far from an expert on such matters but i can definitely recommend flying into geneva and then taking a transfer to chamonix(1.5hrs) or maybe in Valais in Crans Montana a bit farther out. Depends on how much time you have really!
Is it really only 1.5hrs to Chamonix? That’s amazing.
Que vídeo maravilhoso! Você fala bem, as imagens e cenas são incríveis e ele tem o equilíbrio perfeito entre paz e movimento!
Bienvenue à Genève ❤🇨🇭

This is a great tip, thank you!
It seems very peaceful and safe. It’s expensive, but you get what you pay for.
A guten Appetit & Sante
I fly from Geneva regularly but rarely stay long or just past through as it is ridiculous expensive.
It's worth exploring, for sure.
I love Paul ❤
that stall in that food hall specialises in Horse meat and I suspect that meat was horsey - I was just there and same chap served me. Great film btw
Yeah it takes 5mn by train from the airport to the city centre, but it's a 15mn walk from arrivals to the train platform. Might as well just take a cab or one of the busses.
I had a different experience but we might have arrived in a different terminal.
Can you tell us about the brown coat you are wearing in the video? I like it!
That's kind. It's from Oaklandish.
Vidéo très sympas bravo
Merci!
Merci, Paul...and Greg. Not sure who the other guy is.
Some guy.
First, thanks Paul! Me: $75 USD for a box of chocolate covered almonds!! Also me: Jotting down note to buy a box during my upcoming trip to Geneva. 😊
which city of swiss is best for Job ?
So the “left bank” is the old city (Bel-Air, Rive side) or the other side (Gare Cornavin, airport)?
Nice
18:00 so true. You just need a lot of $$$ to enjoy it. Even bistro food is very pricy.
Please dear Alex Hunter,
Please do me a favor 👏👏 make ya next vid or anyone of ya video any time soon in Warsaw... I'd be very grateful man🤝🤝❤ I want my fiancee to study at Medical University of Warsaw so I like glance on the environment and want to watch it from ya.

Good question! I'll ask and get back to you.
@@attachetravel awesome!
Alex Is Always Right
Amen!
The city looks beautiful but I’m not sure about the food feature here 🤔
Not a fan of cheese, cheese, and more cheese?
Tips are pre-included in your bill in Switzerland.
Omg they actually died from eating the cheese?!! Why aren’t people making a bigger deal about this??? 😭😭😭💔💔💔
Thank you! But our our sacrifice was not in vain.

You better be rich , Geneva is ridiculously expensive !
Yeah but there's definitely value to be had!
I love it...66 (shouts 66!!!!)😂😂🤑🤑
Yeah I could not get over that. Just incredible. But hey, that was some delicious chocolate.
Geneva allows the niqab❓
“The most expensive Big Mac in the world” they don’t know a Brazilian Big Mac 😂😂
What language would you hear the most when walking the streets of Geneva?

Just one thing the transportation tickets from the airport to Geneva is not free anymore
what if you're a lucky girl? thanks for the tips.

I forget the exact quote and the name before it was changed to Geneva, Switerland.
