I had just driven 20hours and 45minutes straight to spend some time with a friend in the hopes of bringing her home. As we lay in bed that first night listening to music and catching up; this song comes on. Neither of us hearing it before. We listened to it twice, it instantly became our song. Fast forward 4years, we now run a small business together, have a two and a half year old child (working on another) and I often find myself back here listening to this song.. 🙏💚🌻
I relate this song a lot to my mental health. I listen to it as a reminder that I need to consistently work on my mental health and build strong habits to avoid falling into a bad mental state. It means a lot to me, thank you
this song reminds me when I would get super high on like 5 different drugs (2cb, coke, molly, weed, alchool, cigarrets, meth) in college a lot and I didnt care if I lived. the drugs finally caught up and I almost died. Im 5 months sober with a heart problem but man listening to this gives me a feeling I cant describe. god bless
It takes work to fall in love. I like the context in which the song was put into, when Jules was consistently in contact with Nate and I see it as a reminder that if I want to experience love again, I have to put myself out there, I have to open up even if it means to risk getting hurt- you can’t expect love without pain. Perhaps it’s just me, but after getting out of a relationship, it took me a long time to start dating again, it felt like so much work, I couldn’t keep up with any conversation, I was too comfortable being alone. This song is helpful
You will feel love again my friend, try to be more cautious who you give your heart to, difficult I know but so worth it to find the right “one”. All my best to you and remember don’t rush in, you’ve plenty time to find love ❤️ even better when it finds you.😊
It's gonna take a bit of work Oh-oh, work Now that you're here Whoa-oh, work 'Cause people come and go But I think you should know That I I think this will work Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh It's gonna take a little time But with you by my side I won't let go 'Til I've got what's mine 'Cause people come and go But you should know That I, that I I'll take it slow Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh Ooh ooh, ooh-ooh It's gonna take a bit of work Oh-oh, work Now that you're here Whoa-oh, work It's gonna take a bit of work Oh-oh, work Now that you're here Whoa-oh, work
I listened to this song leading up to & during my labour. I had a beautiful home birth with candlelights, massages and romantic slow dancing. It was a spiritual and primal experience. I will never forget it and this song will always remind me of my strength & blessings.
Today I had a fight with a friend of mine because of my trust issues. She did hurt me several years ago but I never really forgave her. Just recently we openly spoke about how she did hurt me and we both confessed our love for each other. I openly told her that I don’t trust here so we said we are focusing right now on rebuilding trust. The fight today ended and we’re fine again. But I’m now really noticing that we are on a journey of building up trust again and that it will take time and work for that to happen again. Funnily enough I stumbled upon this song today. It’s a great song.
It's crazy how we all have such different lives, duties, goals, and problems we have to deal with everyday. Everyday you just have to keep on working, but it's always okay to take a break in this hyper competitive world we live in. Live your life because it's the only life you will live ........btw came from euphoria now I'm obsessed :)
It's gonna take a bit of work Oh oh, work Now that you're here Whoa-oh, work 'Cause people come and go But I think you should know That I I think this will work Ooh ooh, ooh ooh Ooh ooh, ooh ooh It's gonna take a little time But with you by my side I won't let go 'Til I've got what's mine 'Cause people come and go But you should know That I, that I I'll take it slow Ooh ooh, ooh ooh Ooh ooh, ooh ooh It's gonna take a bit of work Oh oh, work Now that you're here Whoa oh work It's gonna take a bit of work Oh oh, work Now that you're here Whoa-oh, work

came across my late fiance's pictures of us while listening to this song and I just couldn't control my tears ,thanks Charlotte for reminding me the beautiful moments of love ,felt happy and sad at the same time .RIP in love ♥️♥️
I try to use it as motivation for me to get my life together. It’s the perfect song to listen to while trying to get out of my slump and cleaning what I call my “depression room”. It’s going to take work, but slowly maybe I can make some change. Maybe I can try. It’s going to take work to get out of this awful depression daydream but I have to try. This song feels comforting when I think about my life.
It's gonna take a bit of work Oh oh, work Now that you’re here Whoa oh, work 'Cause people come and go But I think you should know That I I think this will work It’s gonna take a little time But with you by my side I won’t let go Till I got what’s mine 'Cause people come and go But you should know That I, that I I will take it slow It’s gonna take a bit of work Oh oh, work Now that you’re here Whoa oh, work It’s gonna take a bit of work Oh oh, work Now that you’re here Whoa oh, work
when my first love and I parted ways I listened to this song every chance I got because it was healing a part of my heart that I couldn’t quite do myself, as time went by her and I found each other again, I shared this song with her because I felt this song was one to heal both of our broken hearts, how we can have a beautiful life together if we fought for each other, cried to each other communicate and love each other deeply, all it was gonna take was a bit of work. This song will always have a special place in my heart just like my very first love does.
I broke up with my long distance boyfriend after I noticed i wouldnt be able to make it work. This song strangely helped me understand that, and helped me start healing. Long process. But listen to this every day.
So I just won tickets to see her in concert on Indie 88.1. I had never heard her name before but I always call for radio contests. Charlotte if you are out there and see this comment then let me say this, you have definitely captured our fair city in song and spirit. This video is Toronto. Can't wait to hear you belt out this awesome song live.
This song touches my heart so much. I'm in a long term long distance relationship and everytime I feel discouraged or I feel sad I listen to this and it fills me with peace. I am a major fan of all of your work but this is by far my favorite❤❤ Thank you so much for helping me get through everything

beautiful inside and out, head to toes, doesn't matter, the way a person soul shows in there passion, and when I first laid eyes on her, it was truly truly authentic, not demanding, not taking a side, just real love in the air when she performs, I mean that in a way that not many would understand, performing in a world full of people that are ignorant is a challenge, but if you really don't care and have a purpose then its means so much more, to be honest the effort that goes in, had me walking blindly for a few days, that people can be so so real and yet beautiful all at the same time. could only wish and say blessing to the future. to have to walk away hurt even more

It's so powerful to me how you see her on the escalator a few times. At first she isn't singing or anything and then the next two times she is. Powerful video and song.
I just heard this song on American Giggolo. First Coolio (R.I.P.) and now this. The show has an interesting soundtrack for sure. I like it that there are still musical gems out there to find, and this is certainly one of them.
This song is extremely strange. Like a magnet, it attracts things. Lyrics and song together are alpha and omega. This song tears holes in the space-time continuum
I found this beautiful piece playing in naya Rivera's bath tub post on ig,and I must say it's a beautiful piece... R.i.p naya you were such a beautiful soul.

I love this video because I imagine all the stories these people have. Where they are going? what make them happy? what make them sad? What their dreams? ...
I heard it like maybe two or three days ago on the show and absolutely FREAKED OUT. The song is absolutely amazing. The past few days it’s the only thing I want to listen to. It’s been flooding my Spotify queue.
this was the song i listen to when i got betrayed. Since then hearing this song gives me so many feelings and mixing my emotions so weirdly bad. A trauma & a song I will never ever forget.
After seeing the comments I now this song is on every tv show 😂😂😂 and guess what 4 tv shows brought me here Euphoria, black lightning, black orphan, Good Girls...

this was the song i listen to when i got betrayed. Since then hearing this song gives me so many feelings and mixing my emotions so weirdly bad. A trauma & a song I will never ever forget.
