Well, the season when she dies is the worst season in entire show, followed by a fourth season that is... quite good... but not so much, season 5 is also kinda good, season 2 still is my favorite with the first, they were absolutely perfect.
Lexa is my favorite character in The 100. Her and Clark are like my favorite couple in the world. After Lexa died I was so freaking sad, I was not gonna keep watching it but ima give it a chance lol

I really admire her passion for her work. I think it has something to do with the internalization of character? I mean if you keep going back to watching The 100 it would definitely bring back memories of whatever mental preparation you did to get into the character. That would be a bit distracting if you're building up a new character to fit into. So kudos to her for being so honest.

I also heard that in the scene when Clarke and Lexa make love and Lexa cried, it was unscripted and it was Alycia who cried because she was sad that she need to leave, the same Eliza she was sad too. That's why I think Alycia didn't hate the show, she loved Lexa and Clexa, but Jason killed her character, maybe they argued or something and she didn't want to talk about it, she was probably hurt becasue Alycia is very sensitive. It's like with job, you have job you like very much, you like your mates and the things you do, but your director fired you or something, you got hurt and angry, but you find new job so you didn't like to mention the one you did before. It's like with Glee and Dianna Agron, her character was so popular and loved but after 3 season she left because of all shit the creator of Glee( Ryan Murphy) gave her, she had new projects and still love Glee and her cast mates, but she doesn't mention Glee that much after, when people ask her about Glee she got tired sometimes and get deffensive but I don't blame her, like I don't blame Alycia, people love Lexa so much, but they also mention the 100 all the time even when she promote her new show, I feel she is lost a little and don't know how to react at all of this. Why she didn't watch " the 100" after season 4 or whatever is probably because a) maybe she is hurt and wish she was still in the show but Jason was an ass and killed Lexa b) she is busy and don't have time for doing it

Ricky(Lincoln) left because of Jason and I think Henry( Kane) too

do you know what the big problem is? is that everyone sees and will remember her as Lexa the commander and instead ADC is first of all ADC. That's what people's big problem is, they love Lexa and the character she was, the love affair with Clarke ... in Alycia Debnam Carey they only see the beautiful girl. Point.
Could be, but maybe because the questions she gets asked can be quite tricky to answer, like this one. And if she doesn't answer them wisely, she may piss off either some fans or show runners. It is like walking on eggshells. Also, she may get a bit scared if others come to her too passionate/excited, and it is a normal reaction that people have.

I suspect she is thinking that to watch the show would be too distracting for her professionally or perhaps she thinks that it would be looking back instead of looking forward. I don't believe is too difficult to dismiss a character and keep it in reserve for later guest appearances. It only has to do with incompetence of showrunners. There are a couple of alternatives to keep a character alive for later appearances, but to kill so easy a character with huge impact and fanbase is simply incompetence
