For those of you that want more details on The Crew 2's actual gameplay, I've just published a full, detailed review for the game that should answer any and all questions. If not, feel free to ask! ua-cam.com/video/rfBDmX0GKik/v-deo.html
I noticedd it a bit but wow thanks for showing the texture difference. I do think as a game the crew 2 has more fun to offer now, but the crew 1 had better vehicle specs as well as realism to the USA. I miss perf and street the most, but im happy offroading has improved even though regular cars haven't, such as the chevy truck and the charger which sound worse and are solower now, but the camaro sounds better. I just miss racing koinginseigs in my charger and 1000hp truck and winning, and drifting in the snowy (not anymore) mountains
The crew 2 has allot bigger scale maps and buildings then the crew 1, amazing how changes allot after generation then generation and maybe next gen might be even way more bigger scale and more weathers effects too that will be cool right. The crew 2 is so much better than any other games out there in my own opinion.
Maybe with all those graphic cards and enhancements it might look good but without all that just being default, the crew 2 blows the crew out the water@nick930
That's all on Ubishit. Ivory Tower did a great job - but due to Ubi's business model of _'Mediocre for the masses'_ (which they're doing exactly right, in terms of doing the business model how it was meant to be), we get games with extremely pushed deadlines and underdeveloped aspects due to a heavy timeconstraint. This is why I dislike Ubi so much. Ivory Tower did an insane job on a technical level, the fast in-and-out, swapping vehicles and 10 minutes of instant replay with tweakability however you want. This shows their competency. But Ubi, being the publisher that they are, just didn't give them enough space to do what they wanted to do. Thankfully, they will be supporting this game for a long time, hopefully improving some of the flaws they have, and adding some necessary features. If Ivory Tower fails and doesn't make enough revenue - Ubi will probably eat the company and make it a part of Ubisoft itself - like they've done many times before. That also, is part of their business model, sadly..
It's not like they woke up in the morning and decided to do that randomly At the crew 1 u don't have to load a lot of the sky And u don't have to load the water Because u don't need it u play on land The crew 2 is different it take more resources to load
the whole point of a game like this is to immerse yourself in the gameworld. it should look and feel as real as possible and visuals play a key role here. the crew 2 isnt just an uglier game but a shittier game since it shatters that immersion.
cuk If you can afford a fucking PS6 (which doesn't even exist) is the only way you’ll EVER be able to play this game at it's fullest without blowing your system. Why do you think Forza lobbies are laggy?
The Crew Storyline: Taking down an underground racing mafia that framed you for killing your own brother. The Crew 2 Storyline: Earn Followers by completing races.
main reason why The Crew 2 sucks balls and why The Crew is a memorable game, an interesting story and excellent OST. For me it kicks modern NFS and Forza asses
if you like something, it doesnt make it better. The Crew is an okay game but unfortunately the trailer was better that the actual game. As for now, Forza H4 is one of the most solid racing games out there even tho you dont like it, and Need for Speed just released a game that grants their ticket to the top if they contiune in the right direction.
@@festive5476 Yes, well, a little bit. In one of the updates back in 2019 (I think) they updated the lighting slightly to make it more natural and colorful looking.
If they could mix the crisp graphics, damage, lighting from the original crew game and the reflective surfaces, huge variety of vehicles and gameplay from the crew 2 to the the 3rd installment of the game, it would be incredible.
The Crew: Large map with many places to explore The Crew 2: Large map with less places to explore The Crew 3: Large map with terrain only The Crew 4: No map
Most of the building and house assets used in The Crew 2 looks like they were made by freshmen college students who are just getting started learning 3D modeling. The architecture in The Crew 1 actually had great model and texture detail in most of the assets.
Very good comparison. The crew 1 looks better after wild run update. The crew 2 doesn't look natural if you are not looking into the setting/rising sun. Well in the second part they deleted cool places like the military base near Chicago, the NASA launch place near San Francisco... You can no longer see the detailed drivetrain of the cars and there are NO COPS. Sorry but I am so disappointed by the crew 2 because it's ofc an upgraded map in terms of textures (as you saw not always the case lol) but it's basically the same, a bit worse in my opinion. Maybe you could one day do a full comparison with many categories.
YEAHMAP i agree with you, but i think that the second one gets a bit of advantage thanks to the gameplay variety that, at the end of the day, is what most people enjoy
They said that they'll be doing future updates, so I bet we'll see cops being added in and a graphical improvement sometime next year. Bear in mind that the graphics engine had to be done from the scratch, because of the planes and boats.
YEAHMAP yeah, as some others said, i played the crew 1 since launch, and it was just as bad grapically and gameplay wise as the crew 2 is now. But after a couple of years they released so much more content. We already have confirmation of cops and pvp coming to the crew 2 in the future and a likely graphics overhual.
The whole point of this game is that it doesn't consist of cities and streets only. Compare the forests, the water, grand canyon, yosemite and yellowstone they all look so much better.
Lenz Ma But if the cities themselves have this much of a downgrade considering that they are the most important parts of the map, it does mean less time was put into making the sequal.
Are u really in need for a perfectly textured bench on a racing game? This is not the player experience, its just looking at unsignificant details, which should be a downgrade since the visual quality while racing or flying or anywhere else is much much better, and map is a little bit bigger too. I dont understand why would anyone compare benches in a racing game...
I'm very afraid that cyberpunk will flop hard like this especially when Sweet Baby Inc gets involved 🙈 If I gotta play my new Cyberpunk outer space and can't return back to earth then I don't want it.
did you even play GTA IV? it looks far better than both Crew 1 and 2. i wish kids weren't allowed to post their opinions on the internet. literally everyone who gave you thumbs up is a dumbass
way too many people slandering the crew 1 in the comment section, one of the most underrated racing games ever and it still holds a special place in my heart today
Simple. The start of a brand new IP needs to catch the attention of consumers by being visually stunning. When that inevitably fails because the gameplay is weak, developers decide to instead reinvent that series and make it more "fun" and enjoyable. Graphics take a back seat because they already have an established fan base that are more interested in seeing gameplay fixes. Look at Crysis, they did the same thing
Render distance is terrible, everything from buildings to trees are noticeably low res when only 150m away from them. there should be an option to change how far textures start to get low res, because i don't even have that good of a PC and my PC is no where near struggling to keep up with the game on ultra.
Whats funny is that the game has lower LODs than tc1 and lower res textures yet it still runs like shit, on the other hand tc1 never had any fps issues.
Ali Gjana Dude, i want to have what you are smoking for sure. Buddy of mine had to play on medium settings with his GTX 780 to reach about 50-60 fps stable in The Crew 1, and the fps would drop to 30 in the cities, even before the wild run update and The Crew 1 crashes all the time. In The Crew 2 he can actually play at high settings while having a stable 60fps, even in cities... And has yet to experience a single game crash... Even on my GTX 1080 The Crew 1 runs at a lower fps compared to The Crew 2.
Imo the crew is still the king. Better story ( way better actually ). Better textures and feel. The crew 2 is Forza Horizon 3 just with the addition of planes and speedboats. The crew is so much better than the crew 2 imo.
Watched this and decided to pick up The Crew 1 on PC. You can imagine my immense disappointment when I found out how unstable it is even on a rig with a Ryzen 7 and 2080 Ti. Constant microstutters and eventual crashes with no error no matter how much troubleshooting you go through considering how common the issue has been reported by other players.. since launch. It's a massive shame considering how much more authentic and vibrant The Crew 1 is compared to The Crew 2. From the buildings to the plaza textures and the road textures and especially the lighting. The Crew 2 makes the world look like everything is brand new and overly polished, especially the roads. It almost looks cartoony for lack of a better word (or even plastic-y), whilst in The Crew 1 there's a lot of visual wear and tear in the world which just makes it feel a lot more authentic. Not to say that The Crew 2 is a bad game because it's definitely not. But I feel like trying out The Crew 1 has kinda ruined The Crew 2 for me.
I played both games and i prefer so much The Crew 2. It's a lot more fun, there are more people playing, the car customization (decals and maybe visual) is more expansive (so much better than TC1), and there's a lots of things to do around the map. The Crew for me is just another great car game but with a cliché revenge storyline and stuff. On the other hand, I think The Crew's graphics (lighting and shadows) are even better than TC2 for me
Where the first game truly shined in terms of graphics was how dense and alive the world was, something which is lacking from The Crew 2. The amount of traffic and pedestrians have been cut to a tenth of what they used to be, barely any wildlife apart from the occasional deer in the headlights, no police presence, and overall the game feels like it was designed to be about as unimmersive as possible with that stupid vehicle switching ability and the map going all Inception on you during story events (seriously, what the fuck, why). So yeah, overall I'd say it's definitely a downgrade. Not just the graphics, the physics as well, the driving feels very unnatural and scripted, way too many assists and there's no sense of speed whatsoever.
Lmao. It’s not the crew’s fault all the time. A lot of the stuff is copyright. So yea. The crew 2 is way better if you keep playing it. The crew 1 has better graphics but the cars aren’t all that.
And something that I did not like very much, was that they have taken out so many real places that were in the crew 1, places like Madame Tussads, The Captain Theater, 6922 Boulevard Hollywood, or places like the Willis Tower and the Chicago Airport, and not to mention that they took out all the stadiums discovered of great importance, such as the Dodger Stadium etc, and also many building was removed from Downtown Los Angeles, buildings that if they appeared in the crew 1, however, the textures in the city...I´m also agree, They look very poor and I think they could have done better. Very good video!, Thanks for the comparison, I already leave my like and subscribe :)
They've misplaced a lot of things in the crew 2(especially in NY) When playing I went to Detroit and noticed that there were three Penobscot buildings for some reason I feel like they rushed TC2 and needed another year to improve the game
Yeah In almost all the city's I seen 3 of new York's buildings there and they did a terrible job on the Chrysler, empire state building and the world trade center on the game
I love mindlessly driving around in the crew 2 while taking in the beautiful scenery. It's something I never do in the crew 1 because it simply doesn't look as good. Some parts are indeed downgraded, sadly. But overall I think the crew 2 looks quite a bit better overall. also, one thing to point out: why waste resources (GPU resources) to bench textures when you spend most of your time blasting past them at a minimum of 200kmh. I also think most of the players don't go into the settings and turn off motion blur. Because with motion blur you just won't notice the lower texture quality of a bench at all.
It's not just benches. It's LOADS of assets that adds up to a much lower quality looking environment. If they didn't want you to notice the lower quality detail, don't add a photo-mode. But regardless, if you make that argument about graphics not mattering when you go fast, you're gonna make a lot of NFS and Forza Horizon fans mad, because immersion from detail goes a long way, regardless of speed.
@@KevAng039 THANK YOU The sequel turned it into just another racing game. The 1st one with its storyline and capturing the atmosphere of different regions is so much better in my opinion.
@@TaylorTrace90 no problem, gotta call it like I see it. Seems like every game of a new ip, such as the crew, has a decent story, better environment that really captures the surroundings of its location better. The crew did that and the crew 2 did not. How many sequels turn the story over that much and make it into gathering followers to move up social media leaderboard. The sequel could have been so much better, when I played it, it felt dead in the water to me last summer or fall or whenever it came out. Hardly ever saw another person in the game, always saw generic ai drivers. Great potential ruined by a crap story, was really hoping to see a geographically correct looking USA but that didn't happen either. I know the distance isn't going to happen, but come on, why does Long Island run North and South off of NYC?
Ubisoft is like that grandmother that says she's gonna get you the new Xbox for your birthday but it turns out to be a VTech game console that teaches you how to spell
@@Nitrous0xide_ yes the graphics on the crew is amazing THATS why I have both games. I play crew 2 for the races. And I play the crew just for the roleplay and the police. Love both games.
You should do a comparison on weather conditions, where The Crew 2 beats the previous game by a lot, the reflections and everything, also vegetation in the off-road areas should deserve a comparison too, TC2 has a lot more variety of vegetation.
Yeah that's a very good point. Though I did say specifically that the reflective surfaces in The Crew 2 are better. I was going to compare puddles in The Crew 2, but there's no way to force puddles on in the photo mode. You have to wait for the game to rain on its own Though.. granted... both game's vegetation is pretty outdated. The Crew 2's trees often remind me of the terrible vegetation in Mafia III.
It really is like mafia 3 , i was trying to remember where i have seen that quality of vegetation before but couldnt place it. But it truly is , they better come up with a HD texture pack or something . Game is only 27GB i wont mind install another 27GB for better visuals
I don't know... The Crew had so many more fun things! Emotional story, cops, military bases, airplanes that actually take off and land, and you felt like more of an outlaw badass. The Crew 2 took all of those great feelings away. Although The Crew 2 does have a bit of a graphics boost, as well as planes and boats and houses, but the story was cringe-worthy and the open-world was empty.
As a long time The Crew player, I find The Crew 2's graphics better. Yes, some textures are downgraded, but aside from that, it beats the first one, especially regarding vegetation, overall lighting and water.
But you'd have to pick which location to go to, for example: If I wanna go to London, I select it in the main menu. (The cycle continues for each country/continent)
That will probably mean that it won’t be playable on PlayStation or Xbox. It will probably only run on pc. Idk thought if it did run on PlayStation and Xbox the graphics would be horrible
@@tutorialsbyaaron6707 you’re forgetting Flight Simulator and the fact that Xbox Series X and PS5 have graphical power between the RTX 3070 and RTX 3060 Ti
@@tamman994 Flight Simulator is a satellite/ai rendered world and has little details, The Crew games are hand crafted replicas of the US. A Crew game in the entire world would take too long, cost too much, and be too buggy.
the fact that TC2 doesnt have NPC Police honestly pisses me off. its one of the reasons the game feels so Dead. they added "Vault Security" vehicles and missions but thats not the same. one of my favorite things to do in TC1 was to mess with the NPC cops. I'd tease them in many ways including pretending to drive slow just to pull off like "ok OK im done, u got me. SYKE! no no for real now, u got me I'll pull over. JK!" and just zoom off at 300mph. Another thing i miss from TC1 was those time trial delivery crate things. those paired with Player Cops were fun as hell. they Have the models for police peds in TC2 as i see them Walking down the side walk not giving a damn about the hundreds of racers going rampant. they added a few new missions/races but tbh who asked for them? im sure players want Cops and Player Cops to come back.
theres also untextured police cruisers sitting in small patches of road construction. not to mention they just recently added Crown Vics that Players can drive both for new "Taxi Missions" or for just plain Street Race Events. the fact they add all the things players dont want is just bad
Why play as a police officer by purchasing a cop vehicle to chase these fake crash dummies in missions that didn't exist in free play? It all makes sense to me as to why they didn't add active police officers patrolling in the crew2. When adding planes and boats, you will find cop chase to be countless because they played a major role for solid ground vehicles. The Crew2 is not even close to GTA 5 lol because they could not make this game any more violent than smashing into other vehicles.
I didnt believed it was that bad. I bought it for 10 euros. It worse than it looks, it feels like the cars are not even touching the ground. Feels like they are floating and the ground feels completely flat even offroad. Terrible. I would rather have a large pizza than this with 10 euros.
The biggest gripe I have with TC2's visuals is probably the lighting. I could notice this as soon as I played it, it's like you're wearing sunglasses or looking through a tinted window. Furthermore, it makes desert landscapes like the Las Vegas region and grand canyon look discolored. What should be a vibrant red/orange/yellow in some places is more of a muddy brown color which takes away from the aesthetic in my opinion. Overall though, the visuals are an improvement, especially in the snow and various reflections. Just a shame they couldn't nail both.
There are plenty of games with not-so-great graphics that play amazingly that were $60, so dont pull "its $60" bullshit, about any game today is that much.
Inny74 this is supposed to be the successor of the crew and you expect people to be ok with the downgrade? It would make sense if it was just a singular game that doesn’t have any predecessors because no one would expect the new one to be worse than the first.
Science butReversed graphics dont matter as long as the game played better. Furthermore, I wouldnt consider the sequal as an overall "downgrade." Sure, the graphics werent so great, but it did add more stuff. Does it mean it is good? In my opinion, no. I still play the first game because the sequel wasnt for me. There is plenty of sequels that didnt have good graphics compared to the predecessor, but yet was better than the first game.
Science butReversed Also, the "downgrade" is pretty much the graphics, story and lighting anyway, barely anything that'll hinder the gameplay, as no person playing a racing game even expects a story. Even then you can just ignore the story and be on your way exploring the, albeit, ugly USA. Again, just to get it in your head: you dont need eye popping visuals to make a game good, or to make a console sell better than others anyway.
Inny74 the gameplay isn’t even in anyway appealing to be considered a 60$ game, they added new content like boats and plane but it’s in no way necessary to be a new game.the whole thing feels like a dlc to me so i find this game to be 100% disappointing. The story is also far boring than the first.
the crew 2 has do deal with flying at high altitude, added volumetric clouds, and new water rendering which looks nice, screen space reflections, and all that has to run on same hardware (consoles), with the same power budget, they had to cut somewhere else...
topper Harley But why isn’t there a balance? Couldn’t they make the skies look better while flying, the buildings and terrain better while driving, and the water surface better while in a boat? Surely they could, we have technology that allows objects to look more detailed when the camera is close, and less detailed when they’re far away, couldn’t that be adapted for each vehicle and the terrain they’re more likely to see? For example you wouldn’t need to render high quality roads and cars when you’re in a boat or plane, and you wouldn’t need high quality clouds and water when you’re driving a car, so the game would prioritize the objects you’re more likely to see up close and make them more detailed. But instead of that the game looks terrible everywhere
This really reminds me of the dissapointment Watch Dogs 2 brung after the 1st installment. Watch dogs 1 and The crew 1 both had a pretty sad back story which develops pretty well meanwhile Watch dogs 2 and The crew 2 both have the whole Social media basis. They feel childish, arcadish and bring no story development whatsoever... what can I say Ubisoft can really bring new features to the table on 1st installments
"Taking down an underground racing mafia that framed you for killing your own brother" is a story for adults? lol. maybe it appears that way when you're 12 years old. kids shouldn't be allowed to browse the internet without parental supervision
The reason for the downgrade is that with the ability to fly planes, they needed to extend the viewing distance without crippling FPS. Unfortunately, it seems that nobody at Ivory Tower knows how to properly optimize a game (I'm not going to say nobody at Ubisoft, because e.g. AC Unity is actually pretty well optimized and almost ahead of its time visually). A good example that shows this failure are Screen Space reflections. The FPS hit is massive, the difference between low and high is around 5%, which is fine, but off to high is close to 30%. 30% FPS decrease for the "easy type" of reflections. The reason for this is, next to there being a little more reflective surfaces than necessary (you can live without some reflections on rough surfaces), that the quality of the refelctions basically doesn't decrease with distance. So, if I'm looking down a river and seeing shitloads of reflections, then all of them will be rendered at full quality, up to a distance at which they just disappear entirely. I wouldn't be suprised if objects and textures work similarly, and that's why we have reduced object density and environment textures. Now, that is probably the reason for the downgrade, but not an excuse. It's just terrible optimization, and while it is great that Ubisoft is adding content with updates, keeping the game fresh and exciting, it would be really amazing if they got working on this. Unfortunately, I don't think it would be worth it financially, so they won't bother.
I agree, after the last update Nov.13 the game is very different. To me they ruined it. It seems like they are using a cheaper model of the game. I wondered why until I was at the store and saw the price of TC2 is now 29.93 it was 49.93 not to long ago. Not sure if that has anything to do with it but downgrades are usually done for financial reasons.
@@pbjracing14yearsago49 then go back to the first one
4 роки тому
@@pbjracing14yearsago49 I wonder the same. The planes are so boring and controll like garbage, the game would have been better if they leaft them out. You can't even use the second stick ffs. Even Diddy Kong racing on the N64 had significantly better airplane controlls than the crew 2. Well, DKR was actually a game with quality but still. It is 20 years difference.
Just typical Ubisoft. The first part, as I know, had been being made a few years (to make such a big map), so they, as always, downgrade everything to make 💰 work less troubles
In my opinión TC2 is better than TC1. Why? It's true that little graphyc details had been decreased in the 2nd game, but if u play or se both games, you'll see that TC2 feels so much better. Thats only my opinion. I only have TC1, but I wanna get the TC2.
I wouldn't be surprised if they will put out another graphics update for The Crew 2 somewhere down the line. If The Crew 1 before Wild Run was compared to this then The Crew 2 would have won clearly. Weather, water and even rain reflections looks a lot better in The Crew 2. The Crew 2 also runs a lot better and is way more stable in terms of crashes (The Crew 2 hasn't crashed once for me) unlike The Crew 1, a buddy of mine is playing on a GTX 780 and can get 60fps stable on high settings, where as in The Crew 1 (even before Wild Run graphics update) he had to lower it to medium and sometimes to low in cities to maintain 60 fps. In map design some stuff has changed in The Crew 2, Las Vegas for example has gotten a lot more highway roads and intersection outside the city, Some area's have been revamped and the Desert and Forest area's especially looks a lot better in comparison to The Crew 1. With all that said though, if you already liked The Crew 1, chances are you will like The Crew 2. despite the graphical decreases, and the game still looks pretty good. I have been playing The Crew 1 from day one, and personally when i played The Crew 2 it looked a lot better to me. After seeing this comparison i see that's not the case in all situations, but i didn't notices these things when playing The Crew 2. The Crew 2 has a lot more gameplay variety and this is where the game shines imho. Thanks for reading :)
This just proves the stupidity of picking the ps5 or Xbox SX, based on just graphics you're shown, just because the hardware can output great results doesn't mean developers will bother making use of it.
Very similar with other games like cod. BO3 looks waaayyyy better than BO4. I don't know whats happening with games getting downgraded, but Jesus. Somebody fix it!
The thing that I'm upset about is that they didn't include any story, i know that in ythe crew 1 story was kinda bad, but it gave me something for to remember the game, otherwise its just a driving simulator, and btw the character models on the crew 2 look like models for half life 1 from 1998. And the game doesn't have that feeling, the soundtrack that you get lost while you drive 400 km/h through a canyon or a mountain, speaking of the mountains, well just boot up the game and start sreaching for them, you'll propably never find them and that was one of the more enjoyable parts kf the map the challenging snowy road and the beautiful grphics quality
Glad you did this video. I was comparing my screenshots from crew 1 and noticed how much better they looked. True, there are some epic moments graphically in crew 2. But midday looks like a ps2 or ps3 game. I avoid these times to race because the trees and building look horrid. Like a 10 year old racer with a 4k update. Also, there were so many events that I loved from the crew 1. Some races that I would continually redo true to how incredible the stretch of environment was that they took place in. All those areas are completely barren now. And I cant find reasons to cruise as I cant see the terrain style from the stupid white cartoon map and there will be one get away skill for the entire region. Why!!!!!!!!
If we combined the graphics of The Crew 1 and the gameplay with The Crew 2, as well as a larger map with more cities in The Crew 3, The Crew 3 would be downright legendary.
I think the gameplay IS tied in with the graphics. I actually have the crew 2. The shading and the lighting is hideous. I dont feel any sort of immersion when i do races.
if they mix things that appear on the crew with actually are in the crew 2 it would be a perfect game (i refer to graphics, night mode, collision animation, that the car will be destroyed, police, more cars like bmw e36, old more cars and the illumination)
For those of you that want more details on The Crew 2's actual gameplay, I've just published a full, detailed review for the game that should answer any and all questions. If not, feel free to ask!

YEAHMAP give them time and im sure it will improve the crew 1 was very bad when it first came out
They said that they'll be doing future updates, so I bet we'll see cops being added in and a graphical improvement sometime next year. Bear in mind that the graphics engine had to be done from the scratch, because of the planes and boats.
Graphics don’t give you any variation in gameplay. I think that is enough to prove the crew 2 is a better overall product in general.
YEAHMAP yeah, as some others said, i played the crew 1 since launch, and it was just as bad grapically and gameplay wise as the crew 2 is now. Why do games do this? it's exactly like watch dogs 1 and 2... where 1 seemed more graphically solid but two tried to fit in more stuff to do.

Render distance is terrible, everything from buildings to trees are noticeably low res when only 150m away from them. there should be an option to change how far textures start to get low res, because i don't even have that good of a PC and my PC is no where near struggling to keep up with the game on ultra.
Toby Mars I agree, my game run at only 60% of my VGA
Especially when it snows and you are in a plane, the trees which are only a few 100m away are completely white.
Joey van de ende Lmao its cause you have msaa on, no one uses msaa its useless.
On the other hand, I think The Crew's graphics (lighting and shadows) are even better than TC2 for me
dual 1080 ti , ryzen 5 3600x, 16 gb on ram, installed on my ssd and constant 60fps at max settings
Excuse me? The physics are way better than the first one lmao and the sense of speed is there atleast there isn't that terrible motion blur

You have to wait for the game to rain on its own

the fact that TC2 doesnt have NPC Police honestly pisses me off. its one of the reasons the game feels so Dead. they added "Vault Security" vehicles and missions but thats not the same. one of my favorite things to do in TC1 was to mess with the NPC cops.
The crew: graphics and details
The crew 2: gameplay
The biggest gripe I have with TC2's visuals is probably the lighting. I could notice this as soon as I played it, it's like you're wearing sunglasses or looking through a tinted window. Furthermore, it makes desert landscapes like the Las Vegas region and grand canyon look discolored. What should be a vibrant red/orange/yellow in some places is more of a muddy brown color which takes away from the aesthetic in my opinion. Overall though, the visuals are an improvement, especially in the snow and various reflections. Just a shame they couldn't nail both.
crew 1 its ultra underrated
"tHE gAmPlaY iS WhAt MAtTeRs"
Yeah if it aint 60$.
@@schwiftzone413 that's something that will definitely be possible with next gen consoles.

Adrian K ok Karen 😂
It's tacky and predictable, but decent for a racing game, i suppose.
Need For Speed (insert name here): been there, done that, brought out the t-shirt!
Why did they have to add planes? The controls are so clunky and unintuitive! I absolutely hate what they did.
@@pbjracing14yearsago49 then go back to the first one
@@pbjracing14yearsago49 I wonder the same. The planes are so boring and controll like garbage, the game would have been better if they leaft them out. You can't even use the second stick ffs. Even Diddy Kong racing on the N64 had significantly better airplane controlls than the crew 2. Well, DKR was actually a game with quality but still. It is 20 years difference.
Just typical Ubisoft. The first part, as I know, had been being made a few years (to make such a big map), so they, as always, downgrade everything to make 💰 work less troubles
The Crew 2 looks like one of them free driving games on mobile
In my opinión TC2 is better than TC1. Why?
It's true that little graphyc details had been decreased in the 2nd game, but if u play or se both games, you'll see that TC2 feels so much better.
Thats only my opinion. I only have TC1, but I wanna get the TC2.
Of course those game aren't olny graphics
Crew 2 city looks like it's in a lockdown..😂
Performance was also a big improvement I was looking forward to in 2. Crew1 was killer on your cpu and I would never run it without my cooler at max.
Joey van de ende lucky, I've crashed twice and I'm a PlayStation player
the crew 2 looks like a mobile game
we recently received an update for TC2 that has greatly improved the weather physics, graphics, and sound. Same with physics to some cars.
The crew 1 looks more like watchdogs while the crew 2 looks more like watchdogs 2.
Mocha's Tavern True.
I think too
I would Prefer watchdogs 2 over any crew games
Just like the first Crew, hopefully The Crew 2 will get a graphics update at some point.
The Crew wasn't ready
Man, I just love your videos. I watch at least one every night. And the Mustang colour is on point 👌 I've got the same colour on my car.
This is just nostalgic,i used to play the crew 1 so muchhhh
This just proves the stupidity of picking the ps5 or Xbox SX, based on just graphics you're shown, just because the hardware can output great results doesn't mean developers will bother making use of it.
"smooth" 60 fps though!
Like if you have both the crew 1 and the crew 2
ethanmiller6305 well I dont have either but what do you think I should get the crew or the crew 2?
@@Zenketsu0 i got crew 2 and I love it
First ones better cause it has a storyline and it doesn’t copy forza horizon 3
I have project cars and project cars 2 )
TC1 Looks better in almost every way.
But i like TC2 gameplay better tbh.
Inm I like the first one
They really focused on the car,but the police is just missing.
Can't wait to see Crew 2 vs Crew Motorsport comparison
The crew 1 definitely looks more pleasing than 2
Very similar with other games like cod.
TheCrew is actually meant for driving simulator bcs the concept is from TDU
Why!!!!!!!!
The weather is extremely good organised in the Crew 2
i have the crew 2 and i definitely don't look at benches you drive so fast all i see is an aqs racing game 10/10 even for 2022
If we combined the graphics of The Crew 1 and the gameplay with The Crew 2, as well as a larger map with more cities in The Crew 3, The Crew 3 would be downright legendary.
U should see it now
And then they mix TC with TC2 and say it's the NEW TC3
I think the crew 2 wins actually becuz it has more gameplay its not about the graphics
I think the gameplay IS tied in with the graphics. I actually have the crew 2. The shading and the lighting is hideous. I dont feel any sort of immersion when i do races.
@@pbjracing14yearsago49 I just buy crew credits and cars, so for me crew credits matter
But the crew one had a decent story which added to the game
if they mix things that appear on the crew with actually are in the crew 2 it would be a perfect game (i refer to graphics, night mode, collision animation, that the car will be destroyed, police, more cars like bmw e36, old more cars and the illumination)
