Thanks to you guys I get curious so I had to search a little more about the Evo guitar and yes it's a Japanese guitar made by a company called Evo Alumi Evolution , they are sold online by a shop called Ikebe Music and they cost around $2300 , it's cnc milled/routed aluminum and they look freaking cool to me, you can order them online and I think we'll start to see them in YT soon bc they are affordable for a lot of people (not for me , of course).
Loved ABC's topic. The human mind is such an image maker/style snob. Around age 40 (I'm 62 now) I got a 335 because I thought it suited a person of that age. The older I get, the more I realize I'm much the same as I was when I was sixteen. I liked a slew of different guitars and music then, and still do now. Somehow, some way, a few years ago I got into modern-prog-metal (instrumental only); I now own an Ibanez Q54, HB Dullahan, and Kiesel X-type, all headless. Though still, last month I got a Jazzmaster, and getting ready to buy an LP Junior. I also have a full cast of characters from the mental cinema of guitars. I hate to be a hater, but I do hate when some people get so compartmentalizing about guitars. I mean, B.B. King would break out a Flying V while dressed in a suit and tie. That's the way to be! Though, if one feels the need to stick to a certain vibe... so be it. Just don't roll your eyes at the ones that don't.
I believe the only place USA craftsmanship means anything to anyone in 2021 is inside the USA. Its true kids, they really Dont, "make em like they used to." -(but they sure are proud of where they made em.)
I'm the weird Metal/Hardcore shredder who tends to like the opposite specs of Ryan,( I had an 89 Ibanez S Series Custom speaking of it) A guitar I hated wasa Les Paul Custom, Epi or Gibson, that neck joint is like playing a dining room table leg. I love the Jazz and P Bass looks, but a PJ configuration Jaguar or Jazz bass is prefered. But I love Explorer/Z/Kelly style guitars AND Offsets with modern specs.

The Strandberg SÄLEN JAZZ NX 6 NATURAL looks pretty sweet. I think that Strandberg shape is something I find interesting and take a pass on like or dislike.
On the Badlands thing... I mean... it's (1) got a wiggle stick ✅, (2) surfy shape (it's a strat!) ✅ and (3) the newer one'ss got a single coil ✅. That's 3/3 a surf guitar... Would love to see you sitting down with the Tone King too lol
I need your help! I have a lot of disposable income, and am on the fence of whether I should go ahead and get the $7,777.77 Jackson Rhodes V guitar, or a WestCreek Racer (which was reviewed on this channel).... I am buying this for my 5 year old's sixth birthday next week(which I suppose makes him 6 not 5). What do I do? The Jackson has colors I know he will like. Is it worth the few extra dollars or is it better to get him the Racer since he likes racing cars?
My guilty pleasure guitars are BC Rich, comes from discovering metal in the 80s no doubt. I'm an offset guy through and through, but there's something that tickles the back of my brain about those pointy bastards.
