mate you are on an unbelievable piece of kit and you are making it look like a POS, just let the clutch out and allow the bike to do the work - you are making it so hard for yourself, raise your commitment level - it is scary at 1st and we all go through it but it is 10 x safer, it is way faster and waaaaaaaaaay more enjoyable - gears and suspension work to slow you if you let them - stop squeezing bars and holding clutches, suspension hates seated riders with brakes on - it loves to work with standing riders who allow the bike to move on its axis, up and down etc - spend some money on a training school here and there or watch tutorial videos on repeat daily and spend days learning the craft o none or two trails on repeat instead of making videos and doing long rides, you will look back in a few months and laugh - trust me
Firstly thanks for your reply - tho I’ve never heard a DRZ400 called an amazing piece of kit before! You can’t ride a 160kg DRZ with luggage like a lightweight KTM. Trust me, I’ve tried! Check out my latest video (Mach ‘n back) to see the difference on the same (& harder) lanes. That said my biggest issue with the DRZ is the front deflecting off obstacles - I’ve just had the front suspension sorted so maybe this will ‘transform’ the bike!?
@@JustinOwenVideo It's obvious you ride much better when your on the pegs, you just need to carry more speed and plot your line further up the track. Think you get a bit of 'object fixation' on those big rocks! Well done for struggling on.
