The star on the hull is wrong, it should have a circle around it. The star and circle represents that it is an armor unit. The star with out a circle means it is an infantry unit.
@Thesteamtrainguy They would hold up better to rougher terrain over time. But obviously with metal tracks you want to dry them properly after each use. The plastic ones work for that as well, but could break if your plan is to go hard with them.
Tempted to get one and make it look like a T26E4 Super Pershing. Just slap some plastic bits on the front shapped like the added armour and add a counterweight to the back. The barrel can remain as is, im only willing to do so much to make it look nice lol
@@jeffturnbull9661 Absolutely right. My mistake.. Yes! It was.😁. I can remember seeing either the making, or a documentary.. The Patton tank was def used.. I still want a Pershing though. And I STILL can't afford one yet..😂
I just bought this tank with the metal tracks after watching this vid. I think it will be very fun to use! Edit: I got the tank a few days ago delivered at my house and I love it so much
A very detailed and informative video! Thank you! Btw, does anyone know where to get custom decals for personalizing one's tank? I'm looking for custom decals, i.e. 3rd, 8th or 9th armoured devision of the US Army, and historic letter and number fonts of that time period...
Japan. I had torn it off when installing accessories, but this is not something a professional would do. When removing accessories, be sure to cut them out using plastic model nippers and attach the parts to the tank body. I use adhesive when installing.
Latest tank available? I bought one as my first rc tank almost 4 years ago, granted mine died on me in a year, and I've never gotten around to buying replacement parts. But everything is exactly as advertised!
I also experienced the same thing.. about 7 years ago I bought a Heng Long Leopard 2A6 unfortunately within two years it broke down and there were no spare parts for sale in my local shop.. even now my tank is sitting in a cardboard box in the warehouse . I want to buy a Heng Long in 2024, but I'm not sure because there are no spare parts.. the price of this RC is also not cheap
I tried it with an abrams, the only problem is that they were too small and they were so heavy that it shot much less further BTW you need 6mm bbs and metal ones kinda rare.
Heng long does not produce 1/6th at the moment sadly but I know a few others that I use, but the price is way higher. Armortek is a good 1/6th Mato metal line of RC tanks.
Thanks James. The tank looks awesome. I cant wait to get mine. Thanks for going over the decal application. Great value. 👍

Thats why i added a circle using paint
Tank you for this review
lol
That tank is awesome! Adding it to my Christmas list!
all Heng Long tanks have airsoft pellets included that can shoot
@@MotionRCdo i need metal tracks to run in the mud and snow?

@@MotionRC how hard can you go with the metal tracks?
@@MotionRC how rough can the tanks with metal ones handle and how should i dry the metal tracks
Nice. Now make it fight a Panther, if you know what i mean...
5:33 I’ve never had any of my tanks have them just peel off but ok, loved the video, this might be the next one I get

Nice tank thanks for you
Beautiful Tank. They used this in the movie "The Battle of the Bulge" to simulate the germans new Tigers. I've wanted one for ages.
I think the m47 Patton ( ironically ) was actually used, much more readily available

Please do a video on the new M41A3 Walker Bulldog model as well with the 7.0 electronics
Great stuff! 🙃
Will be available in the future M48 Patton and T-54 or T-62?

Same here, mind died 8 or so years ago. Looks good when fully working but wonder huat how reliable they are and if newer versions are any better
Great video, can I ask how long the hull body is , ( not including the gun barrel ) ?
I’m hoping we get a chaffee eventually
Which model has the biggest battery space?
I'm glad to see they have replaced the Tamiya connector with an XT60.
Hi, one question, I'm looking for this model in the European warehouse but I can't find it... can you tell me something?
Thank you!
How much does it cost
beatiful from Brasil!
I have a question about the Pershing tank can you use metal BB's in the tank as long as they are the same size
I tried it with an abrams, the only problem is that they were too small and they were so heavy that it shot much less further BTW you need 6mm bbs and metal ones kinda rare.
hope its better quality this time
my air soft gun for this tank stoped working and I was wondering if you could call me and help me fix it
Is changing out the plastic M26 Preshing cannon barrel hard to the metal barrel unit?
Not at all
You gotta make it 1/6 th scale so I can put me G.I.JOE in it! 😁😱🤪🤣👍👍🇺🇸
