I have had that experience, too! I don't know what burden you are carrying, whether it be hurts you have committed, or hurts committed against you (I have born the shame of both), but it IS possible to live free from the specter of both. God let Himself become human to on ALL our shame and ALL our pain in His own body. He created you for His love and freedom from sin-all the things that cause hurt and shame-when I dared to hope in Him, He put me on this new path I could never have gotten to without Him. He absolutely will do that for you, too, if you ask and trust Him to. Praying for you!
