- Here's a drawing of a sunset in colored pencil this time with some violet tones.
I used Faber Castell Polychromos pencils and Koh-i-Noor pencils on a 1000 grit waterproof sandpaper. Here is the reference: ibb.co/MhdRr8c

I have to say out of all your landscape works this is my absolute favorite. I love the colors, they are vibrant and soothing at the same time, just lovely.
Thanks. I prefer greensapes, but I wanted to try something different.
Very nice! I've been struggling with what to paint and now I know Thank you so much
God Bless you He loves you 😊
Beautiful Miroslav I could watch your drawing skills for ever. Thank you for sharing.
A mesmerizing piece and mesmerizing unfolding of it. And, as have noted, the voiceover is much appreciated.
Also, I always appreciate the very short pencils ...the ones evidently most often used. Appreciate the care taken not to waste a bit.
Thank you.
Haha indeed
Bravo 👏
This is my first time here, and this is stunning! I'm not an artist but I'm going to try to copy this. Thank you for sharing!!

Have a wonderful day/night
Thank you. You too.
Hello! I enjoy your colored pencil landscapes and I've recently been trying out this method. I am using 1,000 grit, wet/dry sandpaper, but my pencils, though artist grade, are inexpensive and wax based and it seems as though when I blend with a brush or tortillon, the dark background keeps coming through. I keep adding more material like you recommended, but there's still a lot of background coming through. Could this just be the type or quality of my pencils? Thanks!
Tortillions will work better. Brushes will just remove the pigment if you use them a lot.
Can we use white paper
This is sandpaper
Is it possible to use white paper with the same outcome?
You need a sanded paper.
