I'm starting out slow.. Will make coasters and cutting board's.. have picked up a side table and end table to do small projects on.. these should give me practice..lol Writing down color combinations with your and Mitch's videos.. And notes on so many things to learn. Have 2 family countertops that want done in the future. For me the 2:1 radio for Sq feet has my head spinning..lol For now .. little at a time to purchase. So excited to learn..hoping I'm lucrative in the next 2 years to bring my son on board..as he's incarcerated.. Sorry for my rant. Thank you for all I've learned so far.. Have an amazing new year..
You are amazing. I want to learn from you so bad. I just found you about a month ago. I would love to get to Texas and take a class from you and your husband Kenny. You both rock and make your videos fun to watch. I'm just now learning a few things about resin and epoxy. I have so much to learn.
I love this piece! I can't wait to get some of that blue fusion spray one of these days! 💙🩵 LOVE IT with the browns, bronze & like the diamond dust near the blues, turquoise and gold dust near browns, blacks! Gorgeous piece, way to go Rhonda & Kenny, glad to have you back and HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎉
Hi Rhonda. I have soooooo many questions for you. Can I take some house paint and mix it with epoxy?, is there some way that I can use epoxy on my bathroom sink, toilet and tub? I know that these are probably dumb questions but I was thinking it would be so neat if it could be done.
So I thought I messed up my sample piece waiting to long . While I'm learning to blend colors and different techniques I use cheaper resin cause I can't afford the good stuff unless its for somthing project. Anyway . I got distracted and my resin started to thicken so when I started adding color veins it was sitting on top of the base color and has to use heat to get it to blend and to get the alcohol to break up the colors so I did that and then I jist sprayed some alcohol with blue mica powder right on top and when it dried instead of being completely smooth it feels and looks like a rock texture .you can slide your hand over the surface and feel the texture the tits and divots, flat enough to function like a smooth countertop.. then I put a very thin clear coat on it to sebal in any of the mica powder that was sitting on top....idk if they have counter tops that you can feel a texture but this looks and feels pretty cool..and my logic to make my mess up feel not like a mess up is when rock is cut I would think even if cut flat there would still be puts and dimples basicly a rough surface and and when makeing rock design with resin it mimics stone with a clear coat over it even before a clear coat is added. This feels like I cut a flat piece of stone and just used it as is..I don't know if im explaining this correctly. I suck at explaining without being able to show
Hi Rhonda. I’ve been watching you for maybe about a month now and dreaming. I want to redo my home (double wide of 17 years) forever but really don’t have the money. I watch you and dream. I found a color that I really like for my kitchen but have no idea about counter and floor colors. Maybe I’ll figure it out someday. Love your show. I’m a California girl transplanted into Boise ID… yuck.

Personally, I liked it only with the browns. For me adding the blue colors ruined the piece. Just me I guess.
