When the school was orginally founded it was in the neighboring city of Pomona. When the school move after a few short years in Pomona it moved to Claremont but the name sticked
Only if you’re Rich. I applied to Pomona and every other so called “need blind merit based” college in the nation and was rejected from every single one despite graduating top of my class and with honors from my high school. To be fair even back than as a teen I knew it was all a lie. So to all working class or poor kids reading this. You’re better off joining the military or trade school places like pomona aren’t for poor people. Save yourself the trouble and heart break. I’m happy to get the finial I told you so to all the people who lied to me at least. I was right they were wrong. I caught them in their lies.
I’ll never send my kids too this crappy ass college, facilities needs to step up they game, nasty bed bugs all over they nasty beds dorms are all hot in the summer months. Not worth it....
